GoGo Sentai Boukenger Accellular 轟轟戦隊ボウケンジャー アクセルラー Well, 2006 brought us the Boukenjerks. And they brought us the WORST team-up movie ever... Boukenger vs. Super Sentai. AND they also managed to sneak in another cell phone changer; officially rendering the concept "overused" [This may have influenced the extreme design of Gekiranger's Geki Changer]. I'm not here to complain about that though, i'm here to review the Accellular! ^^ The Accellular is a pretty snazzy toy. While the Cell Phone concept has been pretty much played to death by now, Bandai managed to breathe some fresh air into it through functions. Instead of being a flip phone, this baby slides. And it can stop along the way for blacklight mode aswell. Neat! Along with that we're treated to an excellent paint job [something not seen since Gaoranger's G Phone] and a variety of sounds. This is a pretty solid toy if I may say so. And fanfic/cosplay/play fans can enjoy the simplicity in it's face plate swapping. This toy saw a release earlier this year in America under the Power Rangers Operation Overdrive Morpher line. It was given the simple title Overdrive Tracker. From the looks of it, both the JP and American versions are nearly the same save for some missing paint, a slightly different screen, and sound clips [ofcourse]. GoGo Sentai Boukenger Accellular 轟轟戦隊ボウケンジャー チェンジャー This is my review of the Accellular from the Super Sentai series Boukenger. Boukenger was the 30th series of the Super Sentai franchise. The Boukengers searched for items called Precious. The Accellular helped the Boukengers find Precious by reading the item or items. It also served as their henshin device and they used it to call upon their individual GoGo Vehicles. Combined, the GoGo Vehicles made up the Boukenger's mecha known as DaiBouken. With the help of other vehicles, other formations were possible like Super DaiBouken and Ultimate DaiBouken. The Accellular comes alone with 2 BoukenChips. Using the back light on the Accellular, images are revealed on the BoukenChipes. There are a total of 15 buttons on the Accellular. Its features include a black light, henshin, alert, the ability to launch each vehicle (up to Jet), and the ability to form different formations of DaiBouken, as well as DaiBouken itself. To henshin, you press the middle button at the top and spin the bottom wheel. To activate the black light, you simply press the button to the left of the henshin one. To activate the alert, you press the button to the right of the henshin one. To form any formation of gattai, you press the bottom left button (it has a symbol of the mecha on it), enter the appropriate vehicle numbers, and then spin the bottom wheel. To launch the GoGo Vehicles, you press the bottom right button (it has a 'Go!' symbol on it), enter the appropriate vehicle numbers, and then spin the bottom wheel. The Accellular is one of my favorite henshin devices, and I highly recommend it to anyone. I gave it a 5/5. Enjoy! GoGo Sentai Boukenger GoGo Changer 轟轟戦隊ボウケンジャー チェンジャー This is my review of the GoGo Changer from the Super Sentai series Boukenger. Boukenger was the 30th series of the Super Sentai franchise. The Boukengers searched for items called Precious. When Makino Sensei created a new type of power, along with 3 new GoGo Vehicle (Fire, Aider, and Police), Akashi (BoukenRed) was ready to take it on. However, the Boukengers came across Eiji Takaoka. With some convincing, Eiji accepted the GoGo Changer and became BoukenSilver. The GoGo Changer served as Eiji's henshin device. He also used it to summon Fire, Aider, and Police, as well as the other GoGo Vehicles. When Fire, Aider, and Police combine through Siren Formation, they form BoukenSilver's mecha named SirenBuilder. SirenBuilder was able to use the other GoGo Vehicles as add-ons, if needed. The GoGo Changer comes by itself with its orange wrist strap. There are a total of 3 buttons and one dial on the GoGo Changer. Its features include henshin, the ability to launch each GoGo Vehicle, and the ability to form different combinations of SirenBuilder, as well as SirenBuilder itself. To open the GoGo Changer, you simply press the blue button on the bottom right. To henshin, you press the button in the middle of the gold dial that's to the right. To form SirenBuilder, you press the 1st button on the left (it has a symbol of a mecha on it), turn the dial to select Fire, Aider, and Police, and then press the henshin button. To launch the GoGo Vehicles (including Fire, Aider, and Police), you press the 2nd button on the left (it has a 'Go!' symbol on it), turn the dial to select the appropriate vehicle numbers, and then press the henshin button. The GoGo Changer is another one of my favorite henshin devices, and just like the Accellular, I highly recommend it to anyone. I gave it a 5/5. Enjoy! GoGo Sentai Boukenger Accellular Holder ボウケンジャー アクセルラーホルダー If I could email someone at Bandai...the subject would read "Accellular Holder" the body of the email would just say "I love you" OK, that's a bit much...but it truly was an excellent idea. I really can't say much about this other than it's probably the most practical piece of Sentai Merchandise on the market in recent years. Awesome. Sorry to the Power Rangers Operation Overdrive fans, Bandai America won't be releasing this for your Overdrive Tracker. You'll just have to import it. GoGo Sentai Boukenger GoGo Changer 轟轟戦隊ボウケンジャー ゴーゴーチェンジャー ...and now the other changer from Boukenjerks [or as Ibukichokan said...Blowkenger]. It's the totally awesome Bouken Brace GoGo Changer [冒険ブレス ゴーゴーチェンジャー]! The GoGo Changer [not to be confused with the excellent GoGo Brace from Kyuukyuu Sentai Gogo Five] is the personal Henshin Device of Boukensilver. It has a very nice design as a Utility Watch. Seriously, the last Changer of this type is going all the way back to the Change Brace from Changeman...and that was 1985! So along with the design being fresh [which was the case with the Accellular], the Changer has the ability to summon the 13 Vehicles. Nice. The toy of the Gogo Changer is VERY well made. When you put this next to something like the Magiphone from Magiranger and the Gekichanger from Gekiranger, they look like cheap knock-offs of decent toys. I'd even go as far to say that the two Bouken Changers are the best quality of the decade...with few contenders for the title [like the G Phone from Gaoranger or the SP License from Dekaranger]. So the toy...awesome. It has loud, clear sounds and is everything it should be. Bandai Korea released it's own GoGo Changer for Power Rangers Treasure Force. It is basically the same as the Japanese release with new packaging, and new sounds. Otherwise it is unchanged. Power Rangers Operation Overdrive saw a release of a striped down version of the GoGo Changer as the Mercury Morpher. The Mercury Morpher was smaller in size and had less features. Oddly enough, they added a blacklight similar to the one from the Accellular/Overdrive Tracker. I highly suggest going after a GoGo Changer if you have the cash.
