Todos já se fizeram "a grande pergunta": De onde viemos? A vontade de saber quem somos, de conhecer nossa origem, a origem do mundo, nasceu quando o primeiro homem olhou para o céu e se viu só, à mercê de uma natureza que tanto cria quanto destrói. Essa curiosidade hoje está mais viva do que nunca, alimentando a imaginação dos cientistas que tentam desvendar nossas origens. O sítio arqueológico de Stonehenge, no interior da Inglaterra, guarda um conjunto de pedras de até 40 toneladas cada uma, dispostas em forma de círculo. A construção de Stonehenge foi um feito extraordinário para o ser humano. O lugar é um dos grandes mistérios da humanidade. As pedras foram postas no local há mais de 3 mil anos, ninguém sabe exatamente por quem. Também não se sabe como elas foram levadas e arranjadas de tal forma. A teoria mais aceita é de que foram os celtas. Os druidas, sacerdotes dos celtas, tinham adoração pelo Sol. Eles sabiam que a vida dependia dele. Sabiam também que o movimento do Sol pelos céus determinava a época da colheita, a época do plantio, a chegada das chuvas e a chegada do inverno. Tudo indica que o monumento de Stonehenge era um gigantesco instrumento astronômico, um calendário, que ajudava os celtas a marcar o percurso do Sol ao longo do ano. Tanto é que, no dia 21 de junho, o Sol nasce exatamente sobre a pedra principal quando se olha de dentro do círculo. Os druidas de Stonehenge -- os do passado -- também se perguntavam como surgiu o mundo. Também se fizeram "a grande pergunta". E encontraram a explicação deles para a origem do Universo. Os druidas acreditavam que o mundo foi criado por deuses, e que será destruído por eles também. Esse é o tipo mais comum de mito da Criação. Esse tipo de crença é familiar para nós, do mundo ocidental. A tradição judaico-cristã dá a mesma explicação no Gênesis, o primeiro livro do Antigo Testamento. Existem outras culturas que acreditam que o mundo foi criado por vários deuses, como os babilônios e os egípcios. Mas também há quem acredite que ninguém criou o mundo: o Universo teria vindo do nada. Essa é a crença de duas culturas bem diferentes e distantes entre si: os índios ianomâmi, do Brasil, e os maori, da Nova Zelândia. E existem ainda aqueles que acreditam que o Universo surgiu espontaneamente, sem a ação de um deus ou deuses. Segundo esse mito, o mundo veio do caos. A ordem, acredite ou não, pode nascer do caos. Essa é a crença do taoísmo, uma religião de origem chinesa. Um deus ou muitos deuses, nenhum deus ou o caos criador. Todos esses mitos têm uma coisa em comum: o Universo surgiu em algum instante no passado. E foi nesse instante que nasceu o tempo. O relógio começou a bater ali, naquele momento. Queen - Live At Wembley - Part 01 (01/14) 12.07.1986, London (Wembley Stadium), England. Probably the most famous Queen concert, they deliver an overall amazing show, playing their classic songs and they got a rowdy crowd on top of it all! The setlist was quite special (Queen played 'Gimme Some Lovin' or 'Big Spender' only scarcely) and there were even rumours about David Bowie's appearance for 'Under Pressure' but that unfortunately didn't happen. Brian May said of the concert, "The Wembley concerts in 1986 were the pinnacle for us. We were at our height band-wise, and Freddie had developed this phenomenal way of dealing with stadium audiences. Being back home in London playing two sell-out nights was such a big, big occasion for us. None of us realized that this would be almost the last time we played together."
