EXTREME MICRO 10/15/08 **Measuring baby for a coat Her New Mommy is having specially made** Babies this tiny are spoken for so fast, most are reserved from Planned Breedings and before born. I plan on breeding 2 girls in mid Nov / early Dec. (possibly a 3rd girl) Sire will either be Peewee (2lbs) or Molly's daddy- Romeo (2.25lbs). Here is information on my program and the babies. Our babies are normally Tiny to very Tiny & micro(2.5 lbs adult weight and under). Occasionally, we do have a bigger one. Beautiful babydoll faces, small well shaped ears, big eyes and very thick, yummy coats on a compact/cobby structure. I do not breed babies for the show ring although many do fit all standard except too small. Our babies are more for showing off and spoiling. I always send photos and video of baby as he/she grows. Although I don't have an actual kennel, I have been documented and approved in writing as a Breeding Kennel with The American Kennel Club and am in excellent standing. I am very very proud to be watched over by the largest recognized registry in the nation *I also have a flawless reputation with my clients and babies. My grown Yorkies have all been tested for Liver Shunt and all breed related health issues. I have never owned a sick dog and refuse to own or breed one. (It's just how I raise them) I have tons for them to do but I allow them their space so their little individual personalities can develop. Just about every baby sleeps all night on this/her own without a single peep. This will make it alot easier on you with the transition into your new home. To sum it up, I raise the babies as if they were never leaving my home. It works great for me and always works to a new parents advantage. Each baby is my responsibility and I will always look out for their best interest and well being and every home must be approved. I do not place babies to individuals under 21 years of age. Tomato Soup Recipe This wonderful tomato soup recipe comes from the Bistro Jeanty restaurant in Yountville, California. It's one of many fantastic restaurant recipes in Napa Valley. You will need 2 1/2 lbs ripe/juicy tomatoes, 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 pound of onion, 6 garlic cloves, 1/4 c of tomato paste, 1 bay leaf, 1/2 Tb. pepper corns, 1 tsp. thyme, 4 cups heavy cream, 1 tbsp butter. Salt to taste, 1/2 tsp white pepper, 1 lb. puff pastry, 1 egg. Procedure: Melt the ½ cup butter in a large stockpot over medium-low heat. Add the onions, garlic, thyme, bay leaf and peppercorns; cover and cook for about 5 minutes. Do not let the onions color. Add tomato paste and lightly "toast" the tomato paste to cook out the raw flavor the add tomatoes, and water if needed. Simmer over low heat for 30-40 minutes, until the tomatoes and onions are very soft and broken down. Puree by passing through a food mill. A food mill works best however you may use a blender in batches or a handheld immersion blender until finished, the strain. Return the soup o the pot. Add the cream, salt, white pepper and remaining butter to taste. Bring soup to a simmer then remove from heat. Allow the soup to cool for two hours or overnight - in the refrigerator. Divide the soup among six 8-ounce soup cups or bowls. Roll out the puff pastry to 1/4 inch. Cut into 6 rounds slightly larger than your cups. Paint the dough with the egg wash and turn the circles, egg wash side down, over the tops of the cups, pulling lightly on the sides to make the dough somewhat tight like a drum. Try not to allow the dough to touch the soup. These may be made up to 24 hours in advance and covered with plastic in the refrigerator. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Lightly paint the top of the dough rounds with egg wash with out pushing the dough down. Bake for 10-15 minutes, until the dough is golden brown. Do not open the oven in the first several minutes of cooking as the dough may fall. Serve immediately. Under The Tuscan Gun - Ep #206, Pesce Spada all'Isolana Pesce Spada all'Isolana (Swordfish Steaks in Tomatoes and Seafood Sauce) Serves: 4 Prep Time: 15-20 Cook Time: 40 Ingredients 9 Oz of Mussles 9 Oz of Clams 5 Oz of Shrimps (medium size), peeled. 4 Swordfish Steaks 5 Cloves of Garlic 1 Lb Cherry Tomatoes 1 Yellow Bell Pepper 1 Handful of fresh Parsley 1 Handful of fresh Basil Olive Oil, Salt and Pepper. Tip - If you like the "fresh" feel of the sauce, stick with the cherry tomatoes...but if you'd like to make it juicier, try using a 12Oz can of Peeled Tomatoes. Getting Ready With The Ingredients Wash thoroughly all the seafood, scrub and remove the beards from the mussels. Wash the cherry tomatoes and chop them in halves, wash the pepper, remove the seeds and the white from the inside, and then cut it into medium-large slices. Preheat the oven to 400 F. Lay some aluminum foil in two Pyrex pans big enough to accommodate easily all your fish. Cooking Your Dish Place the shellfish in a pan with 3 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 clove of garlic finely chopped, and sauté' for about 5 minutes. Drain the shellfish and set it aside on a plate, and discard all unopened ones. Saute' the shrimps the same way, and set aside. In a large non-stick pan, sauté the remaining 3 cloves of garlic in about 5 tablespoons of olive oil. Add the cherry tomatoes, stir well, and after a couple of minutes add the pepper. Season with salt and pepper. When the sauce starts thickening, add the shellfish and the shrimps, season with some parsley, stir well and, on a medium flame, let it cook for about 10-15 minutes. Add the black olives at the very last, cook the sauce for another 5 minutes and turn off the flame. Heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a large non-stick pan, and place the swordfish steaks in it. Braise them for about 3-5 minutes each side on a medium-high flame, and then move them into the Pyrex pans. Pour the seafood sauce on the steaks, sprinkle with some fresh parsley, and cover well with a layer of aluminum foil, fold it and seal the hedges. Bake for about 10 minutes. Again, Buon Appetito.
