107.9 The End Jonas Brothers Contest* Watch Me* :) This is my video for the contest 107.9 The End is having to win backstage passes to meet the Jonas Brothers. I spent a lot of time on this and all the content is true! I also did all the work including all the film edits, the photo work at the end and grooming my dogs. And the video looks better in High quality. :) EXTRA- OK so a lot of ppl are asking me how I lost all that weight, well it wasn't easy. I work hard at it everyday, I go to the gym as often as I can. Workingout is the most important part of the diet and that is one big way JB helped me. I use to have a really hard time working out, I just didn't want to do it and I wasn't motivated, but the Jonas Brothers changed all that. I have all their songs on my ipod and that is it! I listen to their music and that really helps me to workout, without them it wouldn't be possible. Plus, like I said in the video, when I want to eat something bad I just think of them and picture them telling me that that's not on the Jonas Diet. I also eat breakfeast every morning! It is so important to do that! And when ppl ask me what diet I'm on, I tell them the Jonas Brothers Diet. I even gave a speech about it in my College speech class. My teacher, who is very hard to impress, even said that maybe he should try the Jonas Diet after listing to my speech. They really have changed my life and they are all I think about all day every day! I drive my friends and family crazy because we'll be like having dinner and I'll say something like, that sounds like something Joe would say, or something and my sisters like you don't even know them, why do you talk about them like you do. But I feel so close to them and they've helped me so much that I almost feel like I know them. I just can't wait for that moment when I finally see them live and in the flesh and I really hope I get to meet them too! Thank you for reading this! 107.9 CONTEST READ THE INFO! We love 107.9 and our goal is to meet the jonas brothers and talk to them about great causes for diabetes! We need your help so comment and rate this like crazy! My name is Kahala and My best friend is Kelly. We have been Jonas Brother Fan since they first got signed in 2005. But we have been Nicholas Jonas fans since we saw him sing on Broadway on youtube. We sent a lot of fan mail back when he was only 4 ft tall =]. They have seriously changed our lives. One of my bestfriends Stephanie died on March 25th this year. Stephanie was not only there official street team leader but she was there beloved friend. Even though she was in New Jersey we would stay up talking on Myspace and AIM after we met at a concert! She told me "Kahala you have the power in your hands to change the world, I have never seen so much passion into one thought, The Jonas brothers will meet you oneday, and when that day comes you guys will be like super heros teamed up and flying high, I have faith in you" unfortunatley after a month we lost touch before she passed away with her unfailing faith. I promised myself i was going to make this difference for her. But before that even happend over Christmas time tragity hit our family. My little cousin Samantha was diagnosised with Type 1 diabetes, best christmas ever right? NOT! Her mother and her were so confused I couldn't watch it anymore even though they were drowning in information I had to show them The video of Nicholas Jonas revealing that he had Type 1. She had the same approach as him. Why me? What did i do to deserve this? She was ashamed of herself. But then that video changed her life seh realized even though she couldn't help spread the word so fast she believed in me to help her. Then I met JDRF. JDRF is a Juvinille Diabetes Research Foundation. JDRF is run by kids for the kids! It has been around since the 1970's and has had music legends help and work with them like, Frank Sinatra. I am currently planning HUGE fundraisers this summer to raise money for JDRF! Not only have I had experience on that level but I am also apart of the Official NorCal Push Play StreetTeam. Push Play's lead singer CJ is best friends and has dated Mandy Van Duyne. Mandy Van Duyne is the girl the Jonas Brothers Wrote "MANDY" about. Together all of us (P.P. Community) helped with a tour called " Playing for a purpose" which was where Push Play donated there performance to any charity event. They hosted a HUGE concert called "RockThe Cure" which was for diabetes. It turned out successfully. This year all of us are working on there summer tour. because Push Play is donating partcial of there proceeds to a charity. When I go out and promote them I make sure to take the extra time to explain to eveyone how imporant this disease is. It may not Kill you instantly like cancer or other diseases. But you have to live with thsi your whole life. You can't live life to the fullest anymore. And there is no cure for it. But that is soon going to change. It is important for me to get to talk to JB and give them a letter about this 2 minutes is all I need. Just 2 to show them how together we can save, change, and rock lives. Not only are we working with JDRF but another serious problem is cancer and everyone needs to be aware a good firend of ours is experienceing the relavtives with cancer. 107.9 The End Jonas Brothers Contest (Read the Description!) This is our entry for the 107.9 contest to win meet and greet passes to meet the one and only Jonas Brothers. The movie could only be a minute long maximum, so Niki and I had to cut our video short and cut out a lot of things we wanted to say. So instead of just neglecting what we were going to say originally, I'll just mention it here. Niki and I have been die-hard Jonas Brothers fans for a while now even before they became popular through Disney. We've loved every single one of their songs and we just can't wait for their new album to come, which we've already preordered. As we said the the video, they have been our role models. Nick, Joe, and Kevin aren't like other popular celebrities. They are so down to earth and they are a couple of the sweetest people. Niki and I really admire that really popular celebrities can actually be that down to earth. They've said themselves that they're just your average teenagers. And judging by how the three brothers act, they are really humble, and you can really notice that. Also, for three brothers to team up, all three of them good-looking and really good at singing, they are incredible with their music. Their voices complement each others so well it's beautiful to listen to all three of them sing. We also said that they've inspired us a lot and they have, no lies. The first time we both heard them and watched their videos (and it was before JB became popular) they amazed us with their unique abilities and we wanted to be like them. Another thing we wanted to mention was everyone knows that Nick Jonas has diabetes, but having that disease doesn't stop him from keeping strong and to keep performing and Niki and I haven't seen many people that dedicated to their career especially in the Hollywood business. I personally know many people with diabetes, both type 1 and 2, and I observe how difficult life can be for them and when I look at Nick, it always amazes me how dedicated he is and how he can find ways to ignore that he even has that disease. Niki and I really respect the Jonas Brothers because of many reasons, and we would love the once in a lifetime opportunity to tell them what great people they are.
