16mm test reel This is just a test reel for my first on-hand experience with a 16mm film camera. I rented the dust-gathering Eclair NPR camera from Baylor when I was a student there. Unfortunately it has been my only experience with 16mm thus far but I considered the opportunity invaluable as it is rather expensive to shoot 16mm without free rentals from school. 16mm Indoor Setup Showing American Pie 2 vid1 This is the first of three quick & dirty videos I shot of my 16mm Indoor setup, These are all raw footage & are not edited in anyway, As you can probably tell, I also had trouble with the auto focus on my camcorder because the reflective screen was bouncing the IR back to the camera. The sound is much nicer in person & sounds pretty much just like a theater except for mono sound & the lower sample rate of 16mm analog optical track, But the sound has really nice highs & lows. Daar wonen ze nog steeds als ik ze opzoek en naar unieke 16mm opnamen van Oud-Sabbinge kijk. Het zijn bij mijn weten de oudste filmopnamen van het Ouweland. Cineac Oud-Sabbinge kreeg toestemming van het echtpaar Franken om de beelden te publiceren. Het kommentaar is van henzelf. In deze eerste aflevering rijdt de bruidsstoet naar het stadhuis op de Goese markt. Bruid en bruidegom geven elkaar het ja-woord en de getuigen zetten hun handtekening. Loco-burgemeester van Melle is ambtenaar van de burgelijke stand. Daarna volgt een bezoek aan de grote kerk. De komende maanden zal Cineac Oud-Sabbinge nog zeven afleveringen van 'Oud-Sabbinge op 16mm' uitzenden. La Jetee (in French, English subtitles from 16mm) pt.1 Classic sci-fi that influenced many later directors and films. Hard to find- I did a poor job shooting this from a 16mm film which I can't borrow again, was unable to make the subtitles clearer- but i hope there is enjoyment anyway, YT has several dubbed-in English versions- one not too good (the narrator uses the phrase, "the head experimentater" making me think for all his perfect accent he is not a native english speaker- it hurts the solemn mood of the film when such comical gaffs occur, and holes in a really nice soundtrack to replace the narration- another dub is better done, tho the guy sounds like Keith Moon, quite cockney... and one is a student project with a re-dubbed soundtrack. This is the film as released on 16mm, retaining the original soundtrack, and with subtitles that are hard to read...but like most Americans I hate dubbing. Wanna hear the sound more as the director intended. So even tho its not a great copy, on this one you can hear it in French and read it in English...it has a cool soundtrack- I like to mic the films from near the projector so you get to hear the clacking and whirring. So if like me you understand v. little French but hate dubbing, you may like to see this version. Tags: La Jetee science fiction sci fi french movies
