Es diu Emilio Calatayud i és el titular del Jutjat de Menors número 1 de Granada. LINEA 900 ha estat durant una setmana la sombra d'Emilio Calatayud, el jutge que condena a alguns menors a aprendre a llegir i escriure. El programa ha estat a casa seva, el en el Jutjat i a les seves xerrades amb pares i educadors. Hem seguit alguns menors que estan en llibertat vigilada o bé fent una prestació social; a d'altres que ja van complir la seva condemna i fins i tot els que romanen tancats en un centre de reforma. Perquè encara que sigui més conegut per dictar sentències exemplars, l'Emilio Calatayud no es deixa influenciar a l'hora d'enviar a la presó els que han comès delictes greus. El jutjat d'Emilio és un bon termòmetre per a prendre la temperatura social de l'Estat. En 20 anys no només han canviat els menors i els seus hàbits, ha canviat també les famlies, els col•legis i la societat en general. Els quasi mil casos que es veuen cada any en aques Jutjat són tot un repertori de formes i comportaments dels menors. Més del 80% de les sentències porten aparellades mesures de reinserció social o laboral. Es tracta de delictes menors o bé faltes menys greus. Errors, com els qualifica el mateix jutge. El de sempre. El que sí està canviant i a tota velocitat és el tipus de delicte i l'extracte social dels menors delinqüents. Cada setmana Emilio Calatayud ha de jutjar una mitjana de tres nens que maltracten i agredeixen la seva pròpia familia. Una falta o un delicte que sembla haver-se instal•lat entre les clases mitjanes i mitja-alta. Amb tot, Emilio Calatayud pot presumir d'un altíssim percentatge d'èxit en les seves reinsercions: me´s del 80%. La Llei del Menor de 2001 va augmentar l'edat penal del menor fins els 18 anys i que va permetre sortir de la presó molts nois , de moment només ha portat més feina als jutjats de menors. En aquest àmbit Emilio Calatayud escura la llei per a que els que es vegin privats de llibertat havent comès el delicte com a menors no hagin d'ingressar mai en una presó de majors. En casi 20 años, el «padrazo» ha juzgado a más de 10.000 jóvenes a los que, siempre que puede, da esa segunda oportunidad que todos alguna vez hemos necesitado. Según el propio Emilio: " Mi mayor satisfacción es que ahora estén aquí, sentados a mi lado, rehabilitados, contentos con sus nuevas vidas. ¿Cuándo un juez se encuentra así, amigablemente, como yo hoy, con tres de sus antiguos condenados?» Emilio Calatayud lo dice con auténtico orgullo. Junto a él, Jesús Antonio, Enrique y Federico sonríen a quien todos en Granada conocen también como el «padrazo», el juez de Menores más conocido de España, aquél de las condenas ejemplares que en cada chaval jamás ve a un mero «delincuente», sino a «un joven que cometió un delito» y, aun más, a una víctima de un sistema social que demuestra fracasar cada mañana en la que él vuelve a condenar a un crío. Ante esa instancia, su desafío es claro: rehabilitar sin encerrar a quienes han delinquido, trabajar con ellos en el mismo entorno en el que cometieron sus faltas. Lleva 17 años intentándolo, e incluso lográndolo: el 82 por ciento de los menores que cumplen condenas en el régimen de medio abierto --libertad vigilada y prestación de servicios al beneficio de la comunidad-- no reincide en el delito. «Hoy ya evitamos incluso que un 70 por ciento de los menores vaya en un futuro a prisión --explica--, un gran logro de los profesionales que trabajan conmigo y de los que yo soy sólo la cabeza más visible." Queen - Live Aid - Part 1 (1/5) 13.07.1985, London (Wembley Stadium), England Most of top artists of that time were present at this mega-famous festival and Queen of course had to be there. Each artist got from ten to twenty minutes for their show; no playback or soundcheck were allowed. Queen hesitated because playing without a soundcheck is always a risk. But then they accepted the rules and their 20 minutes of fame came on at 18:44 GMT. Queen were on top form and not only according to Bob Geldof and Elton John, they stole the show. They played only the intro to Bohemian Rhapsody (the opera part couldn't be played from the tape as playback was forbidden & there wasn't enough time anyway). Instead of the opera part, Radio Ga Ga followed. We Will Rock You was reduced to the first verse (and the final guitar solo) only.
