汎用型特急車両「373系電車」 JR東海の車両「373系・F編成」を紹介したいと思います。 373系はローカル線（飯田線や身延線など）で使用していた165系の置き換えを目的にして、なおかつ普通列車から特急列車まで使用できる汎用性の高い車両として1995年から96年まで製造されました。車両は3両編成を基本として最大9両までの編成が可能です。飯田線や身延線での運行を前提としてグリーン車はありません。車体はステンレスを使用し、先頭部のみ普通鋼です。客室扉は両開きで車端部に片側2箇所に設けています。これはJRの特急型車両では373系のみで客室を仕切るデッキ扉は省かれています。そのため、車内保温対策として、半自動扉を採用しています。客室は回転式のリクライニングシートで、座席間隔は970mm、各座席にインアームテーブルを装備しています。また、クモハ373型とサハ373型の車端部は4人掛け・固定テーブル付きのセミコンパートメント席が設けています。制御装置はGTO素子のVVVFインバータ制御装置（主電動機：C-MT66型・185kw）を採用しています。パンタグラフはシングルアーム型でトンネル断面が小さい身延線への入線ができるように最低作用高さを極力下げた仕様となっています。台車は軽量ボルスタレス台車を採用し、高速走行でも安定して走行できるヨーダンパと空転防止のための砂箱を装備しています。ブレーキ装置は電気指令式で回生・抑速ブレーキの他に、運転本数の少ない線区で回生失効を防ぐため発電ブレーキも装備しています。保安装置はATS-ST型の他、都内乗り入れのためのP型も併設しています。 登場当初は東海道本線の特急「東海」・飯田線の特急「伊那路」・身延線の特急「ふじかわ」と夜行快速「ムーンライトながら」の運行が開始し、一部の普通列車にも使用されています。2007年3月17日に特急「東海」が廃止になり、現在はムーンライトながらの東京駅送りこみ、または静岡車両区への返却として東京～静岡間の普通列車（一日1往復）と大垣～米原間の普通列車（平日の午前中2往復）にも充てられています。また、特急列車の間合い運用として「ホームライナー」にも使用されています。（ホームライナー豊橋→伊那路）（伊那路→ホームライナー大垣→ムーンライトながら） Tags: JR東海 373系 伊那路 ふじかわ ムーンライトながら
