I believe you have been misinformed about Anonymous. Either you've been watching too many reports by Fox News, or you've got a bad case of selective memory. In your latest video, you claim that Anonymous has hurt people. You claim that we are a terrorist organization. These statements could not be further from the truth. Anonymous has never physically injured anyone, we have never made actual attacks on anyone. Our aim is not to hurt, or to kill. Our aim is to inform. Our aim is to expose. Our aim is to show the world the lies that are inherent in people. True, people have had My-space accounts hacked. People have had illicit pictures of themselves posted on the internet. But these actions do not represent the majority of Anonymous. These actions come from small, rogue contingents of Anons who choose the path of lulz over the path of information. Would you condemn the entire United States Army for the actions of soldiers at Abu Ghraib? Would you condemn the entire CIA for the actions of Scooter Libby? Of course not. They are isolated incidents, unrelated to the larger organization. The goal of the current incarnation of Anonymous is to use our collective skills and attributes to improve the internet, and perhaps the world. This is a war. A war between Anonymous and the Church of Scientology. A war of ideals. War has its price. War has casualties. Collateral damage is unfortunately an inevitability. The people who had their computers hacked accidentally, who mistakenly received prank calls, they were casualties, and they have been apologized to.
