Fight Between Student & Bus Driver (Long Version) Update!!! Video released Thursday from a camera mounted inside a Higley Unified School District bus shows the bus driver engaging in a physical confrontation with a teenage girl. The incident happened February 15, when 54-year-old Kim Sullivan was driving students home from Williams Field High School in Gilbert. The video shows Sullivan stopping the bus after repeatedly warning 15-year-old Samantha Taylor to sit back in her seat and stop touching the boy in front of her. After stopping the bus, Sullivan walked back toward Taylor's seat and asked her why she was on the bus, then told her to find another way to get to and from school. Taylor tried to exit the bus; Sullivan tried to push her back into her seat. Taylor repeatedly yelled at Sullivan to "stop touching me" and called her mother on her cell phone. Sullivan said she was calling police. The altercation escalated when Taylor handed Sullivan her phone to speak with her mother, and Sullivan tossed the phone aside. Taylor then began screaming at Sullivan, "You punched me!" though the alleged blow was not visible on the video. Another student trying to exit the bus, 14-year-old Cassandra Schlosser, told her mother on her cell phone that the bus driver was "like about to get in a fistfight with Sammy." About a minute later, the confrontation turned into a full-blown physical fight when Taylor moved forward to grab her phone and Sullivan tried to push her back. The laughs and jeers of the other students on the bus turned to gasps of shock that faded to silence as Taylor and Sullivan continued to grapple with each other. Though the two moved forward and out of range of the camera's lens, the sound of a blow being struck is clearly heard on the video. The two moved back into view of the camera with Sullivan pulling Taylor's hair. At the same moment, Sullivan's 16-year-old daughter came running forward, screaming at Taylor to get off her mother. She grabbed two handfuls of Taylor's hair and tried to pull the girl off Sullivan. She then told Sullivan to get off of Taylor, but continued to pull Taylor's hair in her attempts to wrestle Taylor away from her mother. Schlosser then joined the melee, yelling at the Sullivan to get off of Taylor, a few seconds before a male student came forward and knocked Sullivan's daughter away from Taylor. The fight continued for about another minute, ending when a tearful Taylor joined the rest of the students as they exited the bus through an emergency exit door on the side of the vehicle. Sullivan, also in tears, then radioed her dispatcher, asking, "Where is my help that I asked for?" A school district official told the East Valley Tribune that a school supervisor was on the way to the bus but was stuck in traffic. The official said one student called police while the incident unfolded, but the students had left the bus by the time officers arrived. When a female student approached Sullivan after the brawl to ask if she was OK, Sullivan responded, "Yes... it's all on the tape." On Friday, the Gilbert Police Department concluded their investigation. The police report will be forwarded to the Maricopa County Attorney's office requesting the following charged to be filed: Kim Sullivan with aggravated assault (intentional touching of a child 15 and under) and disorderly conduct; Taylor with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct; and Schlosser and Erin Sullivan with disorderly conduct. The school district also conducted an administrative investigation in conjunction with police. On Wednesday, the district sent a letter home to parents informing them of the incident, the Tribune reported. Taylor, Schlosser and Sullivan's daughter were suspended, and Sullivan was placed on paid leave, according to the Tribune. Sullivan has worked as a bus driver for the district since last June and has driven buses elsewhere before, the Tribune reported. Their choice of "Don't You Want Me" instantly caused a row with Oakey who did not want another single released because he was convinced that "the public were now sick of hearing The Human League" and the choice of the "poor quality filler track" would almost certainly be a disaster, wrecking the group's new found popularity Virgin were adamant that a fourth single was going to be released and Oakey finally agreed, on the condition that a large colour poster was given away with the single because he felt fans would "feel ripped off" by the 'substandard' single alone.[3] "Don't You Want Me" was released in the UK on 5 December 1981 and to everyone in the band (and especially Oakeys) amazement it went almost immediately to number one and remained in the UK charts for 13 weeks. The success was repeated six months later with the release of Dare in the U.S., with "Don't You Want Me" hitting number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Billboard magazine ranked it as the United States' sixth-biggest hit of 1982. The lyrics were originally inspired after lead singer and front man Philip Oakey read a story in a "trashy tabloid". Push the limit.. (MUST SEE) The Swiss Air Force (Schweizer Luftwaffe, Forces aériennes suisses, Forze Aeree Svizzere) is the air component of the Swiss Armed Forces. It was established on July 31, 1914 but did not become a separate service until 1936. During World War II, it defended Swiss airspace against incursions by both Allied and Axis aircraft, shooting down aircraft from both sides of the conflict.[citation needed] A report in the Swiss news magazine FACTS reveals that the Swiss Air Force only provides ready-to-take-off aircraft during office hours -- on working days. The air force staff declared that, due to financial limits, they are not operational all the time.The difficulty of defending Swiss airspace is illustrated by the small size of the country; the maximum extension of Switzerland is 348 km, a distance that can be flown in little over 20 minutes by commercial aircraft. Further, Switzerland's policy of neutrality means that they are unlikely to be deployed elsewhere. Its primary front-line air-defence fleet consists of 33 F-18 Hornets (Squadrons: 11, 17, 18. 34 were originally bought, but one crashed) and 54 remaining F-5 Tiger IIs (110 were originally purchased). In 2010 the Swiss Air Force intends to begin the retirement of the F-5 in the three squadrons (Patrouille Suisse, 8th, 19th) that use it and hopes to acquire a New Warplane/Neues Kampfflugzeug (NFK) as replacement. In 2011 the Swiss Air Force will also be retiring its venerable fleet of 60 Aérospatiale Alouette III, which will be replaced by Eurocopter EC-635s. Being that it wasn't chosen based on my liking for it, I had a LOT of trouble finishing this vid... Not only did I work on it for two months before the graphics update, I also had to start over afterwards, and spend another 2 weeks on this one. There were a lot of problems with this one: It was a fast song, so I could spend 5 minutes on a clip that wouldn't even last 1 second, it had a very unique story, which was hard to portray during most lyrics, and in general, most of the lyrics were hard to portray literally, or figuratively. What I did instead was just to try and make everything "fit", such as the tone and feeling the lines gave. I'm sure I'll be hearing a lot of "Over edited" crap, since I tried to emphasize the strong notes in the video. Honestly, I think I did what I had to do in order to fit the song. Obviously this vid has a lot more effects than my others... I do think this is my best video yet, even though I also feel I could have done slightly better, if I did another song. ------------------- ..:: Storyline::.. ------------------- Apparently this song signifies the troubles that lead singer Chester Bennington went through while growing up. I believe the story to be about a couple, boy and girl, who were trying to live their lives together. However, regardless of any attempts the guy made to prolong the relationship, it ended in failure, and the girl left him, believing that he won't ever be good enough for her.
