Tribute to Russian Army's Bravery in Georgia World News Russia and Georgia sign peace plan, however boundary of the Russian presence remains unclear. The peace plan calls for both sides to pull back forces. However, Russian President Medvedev told French President Sarkozy that Russian troops would begin pulling back, but stopped short of promising they would return to Russia. My response to this... Russia has boldly won the battle and achieved its aim of keeping S. Ossetia and Abhkazia. Saakashvili cowardly killed several Pro-Russians in S. Ossetia with grenades. Saakashvili's criminal actions are punished by our Putin's quick military response. Saakashvili's Georgia burns in hell, ruined, vehicles smashed, runways blown and millions of Georgian pigs displaced. My Russia is the toughest PUNISHER!! Tags: Russia News |

US threatens Russia to STOP Georgian Conflict World News!!! Kremlin risks compromising its role in Western institutions like NATO, the World Trade Organization and the Group of Eight (G8) because of its military activity in Georgia and in the breakaway provinces of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. US Defense Secretary Robert Gates warned that Russia's intervention in neighboring Georgia - a future NATO member - would lead to 'consequences.' My response to this..... Russia fears no consequences!! My Russia is stronger than NATO!! Russian conventional and nuclear weapons, Army, Navy and Global missiles are more than enough to show the entire world a spectacular fireworks. Russia has a long bloody history of warfare and Putin knows best because he served the KGB. Putin recognizes Saakashvili only understand the language of force because he used such force on the Pro-Russians in S. Ossetia. Hell to the Georgian pigs !!! Vladimir Putin has punished Saakashvili for his genocide against S. Ossetian Pro-Russian civilians who were killed by his orders with grenades. These civilians included women and children. Now Georgia burns in hell, robbed. Russia controls S. Ossetia and placed SS-21 missiles in Abhkazia. The Abhkazian leader welcomes Russia and wants Russians to build a permanent military base. Russians are welcomed as liberators of S. Ossetia and Abhakazia. Russia is the Greatest War Power!! God Bless Russia for its Toughest Crusades!! Saakashvili aided US in playing with the minds of the Georgians but with Russia's intervention, US will never have access to Georgia again. EVER !! Russia can fight endless wars with oil supplies and easily progress in space exploration!! Russia is the true Super Power because it is surplus in oil, got many resources at disposal, maintains several superior global missile technology and big enough to sustain the first attack of NATO. The Glory of Russia... Russia defeated the MIGHTY French Napolean and German Nazis. Russia supported North Koreans defeat US, Castro's Cuba defeat US, Vietnam defeat US, Egypt defeat US ally Israel, India defeat US ally Pakistan, armed Imperially abused China to rise above European powers and armed several undeveloped countries from Imperialist aggression. US in HUGE economic debt due to Russia's Glory... China, Japan, India bought US economy by buying US BONDS in several BILLION dollars in the world market!! To sell US BONDS means instant CRASH of US economy!! Asian nations control world economy and prepared for any Imperial aggression thanks to the Glory of Russia. I love my Russia! God bless Russia's intervention!! Tags: Russia US News |

Sky News - Russia Invades into Georgia taking Control of cities and killing THOUSANDS - 12 August 2008 New World ORDER Advancing Russian forces have taken a key Georgian city and the country's armed forces have fallen back to defend the capital, a top Georgian official says. Russian troops on Monday occupied Gori, close to the breakaway region of South Ossetia, Georgia's National Security Council secretary Alexander Lomaia told AFP amid growing international calls for a halt to the fighting which has left hundreds reported dead and forced tens of thousands out of their homes. "Georgian armed forces received an order to leave Gori and to fortify positions near Mtskheta to defend the capital," said Lomaia. "This is a total onslaught." Mtskheta is 24km from the capital Tbilisi. The UN refugee agency said earlier that 80 per cent of the 50,000 population of Gori had fled the city because of Russian attacks. Georgian officials said that Russian jets had earlier bombed the city. Russian forces also carried out military operations around the western city of Senaki to prevent Georgian troops from regrouping and heading back into South Ossetia - the cause of the worsening Russia-Georgia conflict, news agencies reported quoting the Russian defence ministry. A Russian military spokesman said 9,000 troops and more than 350 armoured vehicles would be deployed to bolster forces inside the second Georgian separatist region of Abhkazia. Russia and Georgia traded accusations that each was launching attacks, while aid agencies warned of a mounting humanitarian crisis, heightening urgency to international efforts to secure a halt to the fighting. French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner and Finland's Alexander Stubb were to put a peace plan to Russian leaders on Tuesday, having persuaded Georgia's President Mikheil Saakashvili to sign up for the European Union plan, a senior Georgian official told AFP. But diplomatic tensions between Russia and the United States held up efforts to pass a UN Security Council call for an end to the fighting over the breakaway region of South Ossetia. The Georgian foreign ministry said more than 50 Russian warplanes had flown over Georgian territory. "Tbilisi was bombed. Bombs hit the village of Kojori and Makhata mountain," it said. The South Ossetian separatist government said Georgia had resumed an artillery bombardment of its capital, Tskhinvali, where residents have reported many deaths. As fighting intensified, US President George W Bush, Georgia's biggest western ally, said he told Russia's prime minister that Russia's bombing of Georgia was "unacceptable." "I expressed my grave concern about the disproportionate response of Russia and that we strongly condemn bombing outside of South Ossetia," the US president told NBC television from Beijing. Putin responded by accusing the United States of trying to disrupt the Russian military operation by transporting Georgian troops from Iraq into the "conflict zone." "It seems that this will not change anything, but will move us away from resolving the situation," said Putin. Putin compared the actions of Georgia's President Mikheil Saakashvili to war crimes perpetrated by deposed Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein. Russia's military acknowledged it had lost 18 soldiers and four planes in the conflict but gave no details of its latest operations. Saakashvili told foreign reporters several hundred Russian servicemen had been killed and 18 or 19 Russian aircraft shot down. The EU plan he signed up to calls for a ceasefire, medical help for victims, controlled withdrawals of troops on both sides and eventual political talks. On Tuesday, Kouchner and Stubb will meet Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, said Stubb, current chairman of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). French President Nicolas Sarkozy will go to Georgia on Tuesday, Saakashvili told journalists. Sarkozy is also due in Moscow to try to hammer out a ceasefire, Kouchner said. In Washington, foreign ministers from the G7 countries on Monday urged Russia to accept an immediate ceasefire called by Georgia after a telephone conference call, a US State Department official said. But Moscow had launched its own diplomatic campaign. In Brussels, Russia's Ambassador to NATO called on the alliance to hold an extraordinary Russia-NATO council on Tuesday before taking any decision on Georgia. Medvedev said he would like an OSCE mission deployed in South Ossetia, the Kremlin said. Russia sent thousands of troops, tanks and air support into South Ossetia on Friday after Georgia launched an offensive to seize control of the province, which broke from Georgia in the early 1990s. Is this how World War III starts? Georgian Forces 'In Full retreat' In a televised address to the nation, President Mikheil Saakashvili said Russian forces control the majority of Georgian territory and had "effictively cut the country in half". Sky's chief correspondent Stuart Ramsay said the road into Gori has been closed. "We have been passed by scores and scores of trucks carrying soldiers and artillery and by tanks," he said. "One soldiers came up to us as we stopped to film and told us Gori had fallen. Earlier, a Russian defence ministry spokesman said:"There are no Russian troops in Gori." But Russia had confirmed its troops were in operation in the Georgian town of Senaki, outside Abkhazia. The Russian Interfax news agency, quoting the Russian defency ministry, later said its troops had left the town after "eliminating" the threat to South Ossetia. There is no justification for continued Russian military action in Georgia, which threatens the stability of the entire region and risks a humanitarian catastrophe. The Georgian Government has offered a ceasefire, which I urge the Russians to reciprocate without delay. Prime Minister Gordon Brown President Bush is to make a statement on the conflict later tonight. Georgia's president has accused Russia of wanting to carry out the "cold-blooded, pre-meditated murder of a small country". Mikheil Saakashvili told a press conference in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi, that the speed and scale of the Russian operation meant it must have been planned months or even years ago. Previously, he said Russia wanted to topple his government in order to seize control of a major oil pipeline that runs through his country and ensure its domination of the region. There are plenty who already suspect that the intention is to bring enough instability to Georgia that its President Mikhail Saakashvili falls from power. Lisa Holland, Sky's foreign affairs correspondent on Russia's actions in Georgia However, Russia denies that it wants to take over Georgia. It says it is defending its countrymen in the breakaway Georgian provinces of South Ossetia and Abhkazia. Georgia says it has withdrawn its troops from South Ossetia, but Russia says the region's capital, Tskhinvali, is still being shelled. Foreign ministers from the powerful Group of Seven nations urged Russia on Monday to agree to an immediate cease-fire with Georgia and respect its territorial integrity. A US State Department spokesman said the ministers supported mediation efforts led by French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner and Finnish Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb. "(The G7 ministers) called on Russia to accept an immediate cease-fire. They expressed deep concern for the civilian casualties and continued attacks on civilian locations," said the spokesman. President Bush Condemns Russian Aggression The European Commission has also called on Russia to halt immediately "all military activity on Georgian territory." However, Russia said it could not deal with Mr Saakashvili because he was responsible for war crimes. We would be crazy to continue this war. But we will fight to defend our freedom to the end. Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili It is not known how many people have been killed since the conflict broke out on Friday. Abkhazia National Anthem Abkhazia (pronounced /æbˈkeɪʒə/ or /æbˈkɑːziə/, Abkhaz: Аҧсны Apsny, Georgian: აფხაზეთი Apkhazeti or Abkhazeti, Russian: Абха́зия Abhazia) is a region in Georgia that is a de facto independent republic with no international recognition. It is located within the internationally recognized borders of Georgia on the eastern coast of the Black Sea and borders the Russian Federation to the north. Under Georgia's official subdivision, it is an autonomous republic (Georgian: აფხაზეთის ავტონომიური რესპუბლიკა, Abkhaz: Аҧснытәи Автономтәи Республика), with Sukhumi as its capital, bordering the region of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti to the east. A secessionist movement of the Abkhaz ethnic minority in the region led to the declaration of independence from Georgia in 1992 and the Georgian-Abkhaz armed conflict from 1992 to 1993 which resulted in the Georgian military defeat and the mass exodus and ethnic cleansing of Georgian population from Abkhazia. In spite of the 1994 ceasefire accord and the ongoing UN-monitored and Russian-dominated CIS peacekeeping operation, the sovereignty dispute has not yet been resolved and the region remains divided between the two rival authorities, with over 83 percent of its territory governed by the Russian-backed Sukhumi-based separatist government and about 17 percent governed by the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, recognized by Georgia as the legal authority of Abkhazia, located in the Kodori Valley, part of Georgian-controlled Upper Abkhazia. This dispute remains a source of serious tension between Georgia and Russia. Freedom for Abkhazia Abkhazia's Liberation and International Law By E. K. Adzhindzhal http://www.circassianworld.com/Abkhazia_Liberation.html Abkhazia is Abkhazia, by Stanislav Lakoba http://www.circassianworld.com/Abkhazia_is_Abkhazia.html THE REPUBLIC OF ABKHAZIA Geography Abkhazia is situated on the Eastern Bank of the Black Sea, bordering to the West with Russia on the Psou River and to the East with Georgia on the Ingur River. On the North the Grand Caucasian Range. It has six main administrative regions: Gagra, Gudauta, Sukhum, Ochamchira, Tquarchal and Gal. The republic contains three National Parks in Pskhu-Gumista, Pitsunda-Mussera and Ritsa. Furthermore the country is rich in fresh water resources with many lakes and rivers. The climate is subtropical. People In the VIII century, the Abkhaz established one of the most influential states of the time - the Abkhaz Kingdom. In the XI century as a result of dynastic marriages, this state fragmented into several minor independent Kingdoms. At this stage until the XIX century, Abkhaz and Georgians coexisted in two separate and independent countries. In 1810 Abkhazia voluntarily became a protectorate of the Russian Empire. Until 1864 it preserved its statehood and system of self-governance in the form of a sovereign principality. As a result of the Russian-Circassian War in the middle of the XIX Century many Abkhaz like Adyghe, Shapsugh, Ubykh, Abaza and other indigenous nations had to flee to the Ottoman Empire. This period of deportation is called "Makhajyr". Approximately more than 250.000 Abkhaz were deported from Abkhazia to Turkey. Being demographically misbalanced Abkhazia had become a favourable territory for migration of other nations like Georgians to Abkhazia. After the collapse of the Russian Empire in 1917, Georgia and Abkhazia took a way of creating two independent states, but in May 1918 the new Georgian Democratic Republic occupied and annexed Abkhazia. Prior to this occupation the Abkhaz National Council had been formed, actively developing regional state institutions in the Northern Caucasus and Southern Russia (Circassia). As a result of these processes, Abkhazia joined the Union of Mountainous Peoples of the North Caucasus, and then the Mountain Republic and the southeastern Union of Cossack Forces, Caucasian Mountain Peoples and Free Peoples of the Steppe. Hence, following the annexation of Abkhazia by Georgia, the leadership of the Mountain Republic issued a formal protest to the authorities of the Georgian Republic and Germany, whose troops had participated in the operation. Abkhazia led its liberation war against Georgia from 1918 till 1921. On the 4th of March 1921, the Georgian authorities in Abkhazia were overthrown by Abkhaz rebels; 'Kiaraz' movement. An independent Soviet Socialist Republic of Abkhazia was proclaimed on the 31st of March 1921. On the 21st of May 1921, the Revolutionary Committee of the Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic recognised the independence of Abkhazia. In December 1921 the Abkhaz SSR, under pressure from Stalin was forced into a Union Treaty with the Georgian SSR, which created the basis for state-legal relations between Abkhazia and Georgia. According to this treaty, the SSR of Georgia and the SSR of Abkhazia entered into a military, political and economic alliance. State-legal relations between Georgia and Abkhazia were based on the treaty, which provided equal rights. Following this the Abkhaz SSR took part in the establishment of the USSR. Abkhazia awaits independence Georgia's breakaway republic of Abkhazia has sent an appeal to Russia to recognise its independence. The decision, approved by Parliament, the day before, was supported at a huge rally by up to fifty five thousand people in the province's capital Sukhumi. History of Abkhazia-Abhazya Tarihi (In turkish) Abhazya tarihinin kısa bir özeti.A brief summary of history of Abkhazia in turkish language. http://abkhazia.e-caucasia.com/ A Historical Note on Abkhazia in the Ancient World Yanal Kazan Abu Al Hassan Ali bin Al Hussein bin Ali AL MASSOUDI, originally from a North West African (Morrocan) Family. He was raised in Baghdad and came to Cairo to continue his education. AL MASSOUDI died in 957 DC. During his lifetime he made several long journeys: in 921 DC, covering most parts of the then-known world he wrote ten books based on his personal observations on the history of the nations he visited as well as a geographic description of their land. He made his journeys during the years 921- 924. He finally settled in Cairo in 956 and died the following year. Al MASSOUDI wrote his books based on his personal observations and on 17 books written by earlier historians that lived around that period. Among his most famous writings is a book titled THE GOLDEN PRAIRIES (MUROUGE AL ZAHAB WE MAADIN AL JOUHAR), which was translated into French by the Orientalist De Minar and printed in Paris in 1872 in nine volumes; the English translation appeared in 1841. This bock is one of the most important reference books in the world for orientalists. The following quotation is from page 203 of volume I of the aforementioned book according to the Arabic text. Let us return to the reference to KABAKH mountain (The Caucasus Mountain) and the fortress and the port of ports, where we have related the history of the peoples who are living in that area, among them a nation next to the Alans called the ABKHAZS who are following Christianity and have a king at this time; they live adjacent to the KABAKH MOUNTAINS. Does this mean nothing to those Georgian historians of today who shamelessly claim that there is neither today nor at any time in the past a nation by the name of ABKHAZ and that the ABKHAZ are nothing but a North West Caucasian tribe who came to Abkhazia a mere 200 years ago? Was the Abkhazian Kingdom, already established in 920 DC when AL MASOUDI visited their country, an overnight-phenomenon? Must it not rather have existed long before that visit? Let the readers to judge. History written by certain Georgian intellectuals is fine sample of human distortion. It serves to satisfy Georgian needs in dominating other peoples in the region. When setting such 'histories' against the facts, one comes to understand how the much lamented Andrei Sakharov could have styled Georgia one of the USSR's 'mini-empires' shortly before his untimely death...
