KKKassiopeia The student group x-hill which was founded 1999 prduced this short movie in november 1999 and created the most controversial movie of the university these times. It was discussed like no movie before - the reactions ranged from "disgusting" to "childish". Yet it subtly reflected what was really happening on some schools that times - the student which has no control of himself and endangers fellow students. K.K.Kassiopeia shows the story of an frustrated outsider student who has paranoia and murder fantasies from drug abuse. After a while fantasy and reality melt and the actor can't differentiate anymore - this leads to a terrible accident. Untitled The second video project of the student group x-hill was produced one year after the highly discussed debut K.K.Kassiopeia. This time we were more careful, due to the abstract subject "The Thing" A SciFi movie arose from that with a Terminator like robot which gets in contact with non-identifiable objects. The priority of this project was a good concept and to show what's possible with post production technics. We concentrated on special effects (mainly done with Adobe After Effects) and paid attention to a good camera work and lightning. I was additionally responsible for the music and sound effects.
