What keeps us together? A play with five songs, CRAZY FOR LOVE creates a parallel universe inhabited by two long-married but almost fatally fantasy-prone shrinks, their assistants, a manic ornithologist and a parrot. As all search for true love, or an unreasonable facsimile thereof, seduction games are played, jealousy is aroused and many feathers are ruffled. Music leads the lovers on, sometimes inflaming, sometimes soothing, their supersized egos and untamed ids. And flower power, which you thought was OUT, comes back IN with a vengeance. To watch this perfectly physique athletic artist in action is to see a beautiful panther leap into the air with precision, timing and grace. Taimak (pronounced Tie-Mock) never imagined he would grow up to be one of the most beloved martial arts cult classic film stars of our time. His leading role in Berry Gordy's The Last Dragon, in which he played Leroy Green (nicknamed "Bruce Leroy"), the Bruce Lee wannabe in search of "The Glow", catapulted him to stardom and a career that has spanned over twenty years. He has appeared in over a dozen plays, including Roadhouse in 2004 at the Barrow Street Theater in New York City, playing the notable role of Dalton in this zany comedy rendition of Patrick Swayzes 80's cult classic film. He also appeared in Cheaters in 2006, playing the role of Craig during the play's highly successful national tour. Asiana Airlines 747-400 EMERGENCY landing at LAX Asiana Airlines (OZ 202) landing at LAX intl' airport. While shooting this, a US Airways a320 showed up in the back ground landing parallel to us. This was an 11 hour flight and I waited for a long time to capture this. This plane was in the new asiana airlines scheme with personolized entertainment screens. The biggest feature about this plane is that it was half cargo. Cognac Wellerlane interviews at Asiana Restaurant NYC http://www.cognacscorner.tv Cognac Wellerlane interviews at Asiana Restaurant NYC Cognac Wellerlane interviews Movie Producer Thedore Kateris at Asiana Restaurant NYC about his movie Opa starring Matthew Modine In Opa!, Matthew Modine plays Eric, an American archaeologist who uses all sorts of technology like satellites and radar to determine the best place to dig for artifacts. He comes to a small Greek island to meet with a colleague, played by Richard Griffiths, and to further his dead father's quest for the cup of St. John. Not long after arriving, Eric falls for the charms of single mother Katerina (Agni Scott) who owns a local restaurant. Soon, however, Eric's professional and personal lives are put into conflict and he must choose which one he cares about more. Directed by Udayan Prasad (My Son the Fanatic), Opa! is like a postcard for the Greek isles. The amazing scenery is like a character itself in the movie and provides a backdrop for the story. Modine is good as Eric and his personality fits the character well. Agni Scott provides a spark and makes it easy to see how Eric could fall for her. The supporting cast is good as well, from Richard Griffiths to Alki David as Katerina's friend and even the three old women in the film that act from time to time as a "Greek" chorus. Overall the film is entertaining, although a friend and I debated whether one situation at the end of the film would be better served by being explicitly shown rather than implied and off-screen. As well, Eric's relationship to his father is discussed enough in the film to make it seem significant, but that storyline is never quite pursued.
