The Other Boleyn Girl - The Royal Film Premiere 2008 London: 19 February 2008 There was Royalty in the Square tonight. Some of it was on screen -- the film is about the sister Henry the V111 first sister-in-law Mary. Some of it was film royalty. Scarlett Johansson is pretty much Hollywood royalty these days. Some of it was the real deal. Prince Charles and Duchess of Cornwall Camilla graced the occasion just before the film was about to start and Charles even gave us a wave fan-side. It was a crazy night at the barricade. Twelve hours of waiting around in the freezing cold. When's it going to get warm again? It's been horrid for fans for 5 months now. Still it's great to be able to enjoy the melee front row with the crazy ones screaming for the attention of the notables, because there was Royalty about, there was a wide exclusion zone and it was much harder than usual to get in / out and impossible to shake it all about. No matter, there was plenty of signing and posing from those we managed to call over. Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman both wore delectable dresses and Eric Bana, Benedict Cumberbatch and the rest of the male cast were tuxedoed and scrubbed up really well to be presented to their highnesses prior to the start of the movie. Fans from all over the world as usual were there to add to the frenzy. There were the usual suspects calling out to make sure we got the stars attention. Six young ladies from USA kept fan-side alive with whooping and a hollering. A good night and some great footage. Enjoy... Charlotte Rampling as Anne Boleyn Clips from the drama 'Henry VIII and His Six Wives' of Charlotte Rampling's performance as Anne. I'm not a fan of Rampling's portrayal primarily because the script itself was rather weak and includes rather silly elements (like the idea that Anne Boleyn had deformities). However I posted it so you can decide for yourself whether she is any good. About the card scene -- the story of Anne Boleyn playing cards with Katherine of Aragon and that Katherine rebuked her for never wanting 'all or nothing' is probably fictional. It comes from an account by George Wyatt who was writing many years after Anne's death. His grandfather the poet Thomas Wyatt had known Anne, but George was born after his grandfather's death. Furthermore Katherine by this time was praised for the fact that she bore well Anne's presence. Mary Boleyn - Solitude PLEASE READ INFO FIRST BEFORE WATCHING! So I realize that this doesn't exactly follow the story line of the movie, but I decided to make up a little scenario of my own; perhaps you'd call it 'fan fiction.' The story line: ~FIRST HALF~ Henry asks Mary if he can trust her sister Anne (who he has left Mary for,) and out of devotion for her sister, Mary lies and tells him yes. Henry assumes because of this, Mary is over him. But on the contrary, Mary still loves Henry and misses him dearly. She becomes depressed, and spends a lot of time in bed, reminiscing about their relationship that has come to pass. She feels abandoned by both her former lover, and her sister Anne who has no regard for her pain. However, when Henry walks out on her and her newborn son, she decides that she has had enough and will leave court. She has accepted the offer of William Stafford and will be leaving London with him and her child. Once she's gone, she writes Henry a letter, professing her love and heartache for him, but tells him she is leaving and will not return. (P.S - The clips of Mary in bed are not intended to all be of her pregnancy, as there are other 'present' scenes where she walks around court without child.) ~SECOND HALF~ Henry is moved by her letter and realizes what he has lost. He begins to remember the passion he had for Mary before his desires turned to her sister Anne. He in turn begins to miss Mary, and regrets leaving her for Anne. Henry pays for the choice he made, and remains unhappy, missing Mary. However, Mary falls deeply in love with her long time friend William Stafford and lives happily with him and her children. ~The Other Boleyn Girl~[Naruto Trailer] [Won 1st place in uchiwakid "Anime Movie Trailer Contest"] This is something I wanted to do for a very long time now and I'm so happy!^^ This movie is one of the most emotional movies I have seen and the plot is really close to the InoSasuSaku relationship in Naruto.I made Sakura the "bad one" as you say because in Naruto it was her that ended her friendship with Ino. Just like Ann did with Mary. And Sakura in my opinion is overused as the good character. Lets give Ino some love now.Ann(Sakura) marries the King(Sasuke)afterall he loves her the most. Also in the end the King(Sasuke) doesn't choose any of the girls so there is no real couple. I gues this way both SasuIno and SasuSaku fans will be happy. HELLION - The Black Book (Ann Boleyn, Schenck, Thompson) This is a super-rare video of Hellion at a rehersal. The thing that makes this video so unusual is that Chet Thompson and Ray Schenck are both playing guitar. ALso, I have never seen a video of The Black Book before. Both of these guitarists never toured with Hellion in the USA together. This video was taken at a rehersal where the band invited some friends when they were rehearsing to play the Monsters of Rock. Chet had only been playing with this line up for a couple of days, according to the info that came with this video clip. This was before The Black Book was ever released. Enjoy. Unfortunately it ends early. Put I thought some people out there might get off on seeing it.
