Clip from Miss Fabu's Valentine's Show By the time Miss Fabulosa Linguine appeared for her last run at The Duplex Cabaret Theater in NYC in "That's Amore!" - - a Valentine's Show that was held over well into March - - her future plans didn't include more live cabaret. And so, management videotaped every performance for posterity. This particular number was the opening of the show, but, with Miss Linguine's occasionally less-than-perfect English, she never quite succeeded in putting all the lyrics in the right places on any given evening. The Divina Goddessia has permitted Anthony Bellov Video Productions -- www.AnthonyBellov.com - to upload this clip to You Tube ONLY if we edited together several performances into one "perfect" rendition. We've also included some of the subsequent light-hearted repartee with her favorite foil, famed accordioniste and street-entertainer Dom Pérignon Flambé. This clip is a special favorite of all who saw the show that legendary night. Dom Pérignon Flambé featured in "Domeo & Fabuette" In 1963 Miss Fabulosa Linguine (seen briefly in this clip) and her cohorts Kabuki and Dom Pérignon Flambé appeared in a wildly successful Valentine's Month show, called "That's Amore!" at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre in New York City. The four-show engagement wound up running for six weeks! Graciously, Miss Fabu's dear friend Mae West offered to write a skit for them and adapted Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare using her own unique talents. Miss Fabu and Dommie did not let her down. Here is rare live footage of Dom Pérignon Flambé as the besotted Domeo performing "Tiptoe Through The Tulips" for the benefit of Fabulosa Linguine's Fabuette. This performance is popularly credited with inspiring the career of the young Tiny Tim, who was an adoring audience member several times.
