Asha Bhosle - Sajan Tere Pyar Mein - Mahua - 1969 An incredibly beautiful song sung by Asha Bhosle. In recent years there has been a resurgence of Asha's popularity in the West. Some people who know of her don't know about her sister Lata Mangeshkar. Lata is the most recorded singer in history, and Asha isn't far behind. Though exact numbers aren't known, the amount of songs which each of them have recorded are in the tens of thousands. Perhaps one of the reasons for Asha's recent popularity is because she has done more music which has a contemporary feel, while Lata's music is thought of as the kind that one's parents or grandparents listened to. This is unfair to Lata, for her music is timeless. Neither sister is better than the other for they are each beyond compare. They have both risen to a level of artistry which belongs to the ages, rather than to a specific time. I can't find any info on the actress Anjana Mumtaz, except that she is 5'3" (1.6 M) tall, and that "Mahua" was her first movie out of 116! Her latest role in "Tulsi" in 2008 was that of "Sexy Mom"! Fixed it using CFX Aspect Ratio plugin. * Subtitles hard to read. Split movie file into clips to insert new subtitles over the old ones. * Inserted new subtitles using CFX Simple Caption plugin. It's not perfect, but it's better than it was. * Soundtrack music quality was terrible, deleted it. Found good mp3 on Internet. * Music still too tinny. Equalized it in GarageBand to bring up bass and low end vocal ranges. Bass still a bit too low. I don't have the right tools yet to enhance it properly. * Inserted music into video. * Timing of music didn't match video. Put many micro edits into movie to extend it's length to make it match music. * Joined the separate clips together using SebSoft Join Clips plugin. * Split the movie into separate clips again, this time to edit each scene for contrast and brightness. Original movie was faded and dark. * Fixed contrast and brightness. * Sharpened. * Made beginning and end title sequences and inserted them. * Exported movie from iMovie in DivX format using DivX Pro. I've decided that from now on I'll make all of my videos with Final Cut Pro and Soundtrack. Asha Bhosle: Zuby Zuby Zalembu Here is the score of the 1967 Indian movie "An Evening In Paris", sung by the great Indian singer Asha Bhosle. Asha Bhosle is a household name in India. Some call her the "Barbara Streisand of India" and she is considered as one of the most versatile of South Asian singers. Sister of the most influential voice of India, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle was born in 1933. Like her sister, she was trained by her father, a classical singer, in classical music. Around the age of ten she sang her first film song in the Marathi film "Majha Bal". Some have spoken of rivalry between Asha Bhosle and her sister Lata Mangeshkar. Actually they sang together and Asha is now considered as equally iconic, and the two of them are the queens of Indian playback singing.
