The Original Live Action Blinky Bill Puppet Show This is a clip of what I believe is the first episode (Hello Stranger, Goodbye Ranger) of the original Blinky Bill series "The New Adventures of Blinky Bill". This is NOT the well known Yoram Gross version but the older, live action series involving puppets, set in Bollygum National Park & featuring the talents of "Hey Dad!" actor Robert Hughes as Ranger Barry. Long have I searched the internet for information regarding this show and up until recently I have been unable to find anything about the show! This is despite the fact that it aired on the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corp channel) from 1984 for four seasons with reruns up until 1991! The ABC don't even have any information about the show on their website. Anyway, this is only a clip from the show. The start and the end of this episode are not included but I have another clip from earlier on in the episode if people are keen to see it. This should bring back some memories for those who used to watch, and sadly I don't have any other episodes on VHS from which to offer more clips of this great show. Copyright ABC Australia. Blinky Bill Intro - Swe Som en massa andra figurer på den tiden hade Blinky Bill uppmärksammat miljöproblemen, och det är ju bra. Handlar om en Koala och hans vänner, beståeende av andra austaliensiska djur (presenteras i introt). Måste ha världsrekord i intro-längd, 2 minuter? Det är som att se ett helt avsnitt. Nåväl, den här serien var bra, och sist jag såg ett spår av den lille gynnaren var på ett flygplan på väg till Spanien, då i form av en ryggsäck på en flickas rygg, skulle ha passat bättre som magväska med tanke på att han är ett pungdjur. These stories are Blinky Bill, Blinky Bill and Nutsy, and Blinky Bill Grows Up.The books are considered quintessential Australian children's classics, and have never been out of print in Australia. While telling the adventures of Blinky, who is a rather naughty little boy in the form of a koala, the stories also present messages of conservation. Wall tells the stories directly to the children and Blinky often interacts with the readers in an introduction. Her dedications are often to 'All the Kind Children', with her own son Peter and other common Australian names of the 1930s appearing. They are also illustrated by Dorothy Wall herself. Though the books have never been out of print, the Blinky Bill story has also been adapted for television and cinema. The first television series from the 1980s featured actors interacting with puppet animals and went under the title of The New Adventures of Blinky Bill.
