Brigid Mhairi sings Oh Happy Day READ BEFORE COMMENTING PLEASE: I don't like doing this but I get so many comments on this video which are too rude (I approve all comments except those with bad language) to approve. PLEASE read the following first: 1. I really liked this song back in 2007, a long time ago now but I will NOT be singing it again, thanks. (: 2. This backing track is one of the hardest ones to work with because you cannot do your own thing with it as the "backing singers" are leading you which makes it pretty impossible to actually "own" the song. I am not excusing my (I think) poor attempt at it, but explaining it. (: 3. I recorded this about three months after I first started singing (I don't get lessons or "practice") back in 2007. What I am saying is that this is no longer where I am "at" vocally so I am probably a lot more critical than you. :P 4. It was for fun because I was mucking about one afternoon, no rehearsal, no warm up. Now I prefer singing with live music. All in all some people take it all way too seriously. "Song For Brigid" (Draft Version) Not too many know that I LOVE BASS! This is a first for a series I am getting into. This was a last~minute /thrown together version I just ran up here in...well, less time than it took to upload this video. I guess I was too excited about the whole song idea (and wanted to give it to Brigid as fast as it came into my head). I am going to start on the final version this week....I think the latter version is going to be really nice. I'm talking fully produced, programmed and orchestrated stuff...not just thrown together and whatnot. In general,I want to do a whole instrumental bass album/project. These songs will be uploaded to my music channel (MelloMelJams). I am very excited about this new project as I will be focusing on my music for the first time. also...I will be featuring the bass as the lead instrument. Brigid Mhairi sings Nobody Does It Better (James Bond) OK- I heard this song once around 2005 when mum got all "James Bondey" and I really liked it. Then I found a karaoke track for it and got the lyrics off the net yesterday. It is nothing serious- just having fun. Honestly- I was mucking about and it is not MEANT to be perfect. If it were I'd never put anything up as these are all imperfect first times. So- no cuts, no practice, no run through, no nothing.
