These courses are designed for talented amateurs. All of these are paid for by those attending. - A few masterclasses, even one with the great man do not constitute "a formal opera training" by any stretch of the imagination. - Professional opera singers earn their living by treading the boards night after night week-in week-out, year after year with professional opera companies. - Paul, has never earned a single penny from opera performance, other than winning a tv talent show in 1999 - the winnings funding masterclasses. - Paul has not performed since 2003. - He is not a professional opera singer pretending to be a mobile phone sales man, but rather he is a mobile phone salesman aspiring to be an opera singer. - An operatic voice IS a trained voice. Britain's Got Talent 2007 - George Sampson Streetdancer 13 year old George Sampson amazes the judges with his street dance. Look at Simon's face! This video clip is from Britain's Got Talent 2007. Unfortunately, George never made it to the semi-finals in the 2007 competition, mostly because Simon Cowell was unable to convince the other judges of his likely potential. George Sampson re-entered the competition once again in 2008 and won. His motivation to never stop trying should motivate us all. They combined the Michael Jackson lyrics and style of dancing with traditional bhangra style music and dancing in a comedy dance act. Before the audition, Mirza said: "I don't think the judges will have ever seen an act like mine before...in this act there will be a lot of moon walking, but there is a twist, and if they weren't Michael Jackson fans before they may even turn into one." Mirza is then shown moonwalking around the stage, and performing Michael Jackson style dance moves. As he dances, Madhu Singh, dressed in a white coat, walks past the show presenters Ant & Dec at the side of the stage and makes his way onto the stage with a broom. The two then start a Bhangra/Michael Jackson "dance off", bringing with it a standing ovation from the audience and one of the judges, Amanda Holden. After their audition, Signature became one of the favourites to win, due to their popular crossover-style of dancing and mixing Bhangra with Michael Jackson and their ever growing "element of surprise".
