A LowLife CrewCut - Eddie629 and Friends I was at work when I thought of the idea....thinking of all the cool talking intros to peoples videos...and decided to use a few vids that I thought had cool little sayings in it...I basically used just one of their videos each...and diced up their cool sayings into little sound bites. All I did was use three different looped beats..all at different tempos..and just kept playing stuff over them until I came up with something I liked...the first riff though(and repeated at the end)is actually an old riff that my brother ( Rigel66 ) and I used to jam on a long time ago. After I had all the music and little breaks done,I added the sound bites to make up a song...with the sound bites being the vocal track !!...The vid is kinda lame...but oh well...Its not a subscriber shout out or anything, just an experiment with music and the adding of voices from 6 different people....I want to thank them for letting me use their vocal talents though.... Rush Broon's Bane/Trees Intro::Subscriber Shout Out THANKS! THANKS TO ALL! If you are not named in the video and you like what you hear, feel free to click subscribe. :-) It's pretty safe. Sort of. I have seen these types of videos, and when I am in listed one I am always flattered. So I thought I would pass along that goodness. If I miss anyone I will feel horrible. It's a lot more work than I realized to make these type vids (at least with Windows Media Maker). I triple checked it, but I just don't trust myself anymore! And hopefully I won't have wasted your time when you subscribed to me. A note about the guitar: The guitar was free (Sam Ash, with a purchase of an Amp head) and it's playable, but it's very hard to keep from buzzing so it is a workout for me. It has a built in pickup which is kind of cool for a free guitar. A note about the song: I am definitely playing it slow.. I had a target for how long I would need for the amount of names to scroll, but I played it slower than that out of sheer time paranoia. Anyway, the song is from the live Rush release Exit Stage Left. I don't have tabs for it and I am sorry my fingers are not more clear. It's one that my brother always plays to warm up when he grabs an acoustic and we learned it about 20 years ago, not long after we saw Alex Lifeson play it live in the Moving Pictures tour. I have forgotten how to play it exactly right and I apologize to anyone picky. If you remember, please tell me! And finally a technical note about the video.. I should have processed the video first into something smaller that youtube would take, then add the titles so they don't get pixelated. Ah well, live and learn. Peace.
