Theatrical release is scheduled for August 22nd. Blod & ære (Big John) is a character driven documentary that revolves around "Big John" Klemetsen and the father-son relationship with his son Ole "Lukkeøye" Klemetsen. Big John trains and coaches Ole from childhood into becoming a professional boxer. Many shake their heads when the unstoppable father sends his son into the ring against some of the most dangerous fighters in the world, but Team Klemetsen becomes a great success and signs a sensational professional contract with Emanuel Steward in Detroit. However, after a short period of time Big John realizes that professional boxing in America is a very dangerous business. Big John struggles to stay in control of organizing training and bouts for his son, nicknamed "The Golden Viking". To protect his son and coach him the best possible way, Big John takes care of everything from finances, planning and contracts to laundry. Ole should only concentrate on boxing and not be involved in the conflicts between Team Klemetsen and the surrounding boxing community. Today the boxing career is over. Will Big John now let his son develop a life on his own?
