DADGAD doodeling An irish/celtic inspired original composition. I pulled this one out of the box when I heard Dales (tonedr) mandolin playing. It reminds me of this tune and 'cause I can't play mandolin I put this one down. It starts with an improvised section. I thought of cutting off the first part but then I found it fits together. There are some variations of the faster theme, which form is not fixed. So I did not really know which one I will play the next time through. I'm not always playing very exactly, excuse me ;) You might recognize a slapping technique while playing the triads (right word?). I learned this from Steve Baughman, a great player of celtic tunes. He calls it "middle finger twack". It gives a percussive attack on the strings. quick DADGAD lick asian-themed dadgad lick, apologies if it's hard to see what i'm fretting but my hands are pretty big, and the vid quality is awful but it's just the camera on my phone it's a lot simpler than it sounds, but i wouldnt reccomend trying this one with a pick, use your thumb and index finger and you'll find it a lot easier, i'll post a vid of the right hand later Tags: dadgad guitar lick fingerstyle asian
