Catwoman (Principles) Bored with her trophies of stolen riches, Selina Kyle decides to take a girl's night out and go on the prowl and Catwoman. She spies a luxrious penthouse and decides to go windo shopping. Unfortunately, as Catwoman makes her rounds, she is quickly dissapointed to find out that three thugs have broken in to the same apartment and are now tearing it to shreds as they loot it. Enraged by their blatent dissrespect for the art of cat burglarly, Catwoman decides to teach them a lesson. A painful one at that. A WORD FROM CHRIS This movie was similar to most of the films I've done so far, but very different as well. After nearly three years of making movies, I've gotten a lot of feed back from my fans as well as critics and realized that there are certain things I gotta do to appease them. The biggest complaint- lighting. Yeah I know. In a lot of my previous films, I shot in the dark and when yer watching it online in low res, it's hard to understand what's going on. For that, I'm sorry. So for this movie, I decided to shoot it as brightly as possible. Not counting the outside roof scenes, everything else was pretty much well lit. The fight scene was the most important. I wanted everyone to know what Catwoman was doing so I wouldn't get any complaints. And what more obvious way to light a scene then to have the character actually flick on the lights? Next up, was the genre. I have already made horror movies, I've made action movies, but I haven't done much with sexy women kicking the crap out of thugs. This was something that needed to be done. Also, if you know your fan films you would know that there are also two other Catwoman movies out there. I saw them and was not pleased. Niki and I both agreed we could do a better job if we tried. So we did. No one had ever tried to make a Catwoman movie using the Purple suit - which to me is sexier than noisy skeaky leather. So I decided to take the road less travelled and do Catwoman some justice, especially after that steaming turd-of-a-movie starring Halle Berry. I was so disgusted by Hollywood for trying to pass that crap off as Catwoman, I just needed to stick it to them. I can go on about this for hours, so I'll just leave it at that. Finally, the most important thing about this movie, aside from the practicality of the costume, was the fight scene. My Catwoman had to be able to convince anyone that she could maul and maim you at the drop of a hat. In the other Catwoman fan films- the actresses are either not in shape and knock enemies out in one punch or they are ballerinas who are too graceful to look like they can hurt someone. I couldn't have that. Niki has been training in Kung fu for over a year now- specifically for movie making purposes. The next step is to find prospective parents for the yet unborn child. In the Pennysaver ad section, Juno finds Mark and Vanessa Loring, a yuppie couple living in the suburbs. Juno likes the Lorings, and in some respects has found who looks to be a kindred spirit in Mark, with whom she shares a love of grunge music and horror films. Vanessa is a little more uptight and is the one in the relationship seemingly most eager to have a baby. On her own choosing, Juno enters into a closed rather than open adoption contract with the Lorings - meaning she will have no contact with the baby after she gives it up. During the second and third trimesters of Juno's pregnancy which she treats with care but detachment, Juno's relationships with her family, with Paulie, and with the Lorings develop, the latter whose on the surface perfect life masks some hidden problems.
