Majora's Mask - Japanese Deku Palace It's very different from the one in the American and European versions of the game. - There's an underground shortcut between the left and right halves of the garden. (Not present at all in (U) or (E)) - There's an underground passage from the area near the Heart Piece to a hill that's unreachable in the (U) or (E) versions - The bean seller's grotto was originally on this hill. His new location is a dead end here. - A circle of rupees was moved in the (U) and (E) versions to cover up a missing grotto hole. - Some torches were moved around. Legend of Link - Scene 7 - Great Deku Tree & Goodbye, Saria A scene from Legend of Link, a fan film by Obsession Studios about the Legend of Zelda. This video comes straight from the director himself. Link's home is the Kokiri Forest in this adaptation of Zelda, which includes the idea of children-forever "The Kokiri." The Great Deku Tree is the father of these children and has summoned Link, hence why he goes there. The tree was played by Mr. Mongenas, a religion teacher who taught many philosophies such as the Journey, and who was very popular amongst us. His dispassionate performance is due to his lack of time when we filmed this. Afterwards is a skit of Tingle where Tingle has stolen the log-home of a Kokiri boy. Master Quest Deku Tree alternate route This is an alternative route to the one previously uploaded. It uses the easier Gohma larva flip, but is 45 seconds slower for it. Really only to be used if the Deku Baba flip is too difficult to pull off in a run, which I don't think it is. Still, always good to have these things around. Master Quest Deku Tree route--improved version Yeah, so it turns out there's a better way to do the Deku Tree, AND it doesn't use the Baba flip. Thanks to Unreal for pointing out the flame storage thing. I'm beginning to suspect that I could make the larva flip part go faster by using a sidehop instead, so I don't have to push it back, but it's not worth doing the whole thing over again.
