Ken Lee - DJ Dense Modesto Remix (( KenLeeWorld.com)) "Ken Lee" (a hackneyed interpretation of the words "Can't live") is an interpretation of the popular song "Without You," performed by Valentina Hasan, a contestant auditioning for the Bulgarian show Music Idol in February 2008. Before the performance, Hasan informed the judges she was going to be performing "the Mariah Carey song 'Ken Lee,'" and when she was corrected that the song was called "Without You," Hasan insisted that the song was named "Ken Lee." Although she did not continue to the next round of the competition, a video of her performance was soon posted on the web where it became popular both in Bulgaria and abroad. Hasan's extremely broken English (upon finishing the song, she insisted the garbled lyrics she sang were English words), coupled with her yet undeveloped singing abilities, combined to great comic effect, and garnered the video over four million viewings in its first month on the video sharing website YouTube. The popularity of the video encouraged Music Idol producers to invite Hasan back to sing the song on a live show a few weeks later. By this time, Hasan had more training with the English lyrics, made fewer errors, and poked fun at her own interpretation by singing the final verse in her original style. This video was also posted to YouTube and received over 1.2 million views by the end of March 2008. Hasan's interpretation inspired many people to create their own parodies and remixes of "Ken Lee," including house, disco, and karaoke-style performances. Hasan explained to the Bulgarian media that she actually used to listen to the song "when she was 15," using a cassette recorder, and "sang it the way she felt it." Threads Of Fate (Dewprism) Soundtrack-Dawn In Dense Woodland Threads of Fate, known in Japan as Dewprism,is a console role-playing game for the PlayStation console developed and published by Square (now Square Enix). The story revolves around the adventure of two characters, Mint and Rue, and a highlight of the game is that the player is able to play from the perspective of either. The gameplay is simple and action-oriented, rather than turn based, and plays more like an action platformer than a traditional menu-based RPG like those in the Final Fantasy series. It is more similar in style to the Seiken Densetsu games by Square or even The Legend of Zelda series by Nintendo. The character Mint attacks with a pair of chakrams, known as the Dual Haloes, and is a proficient magic user. The character Rue is more physical and attacks with his axe, Arc Edge. He also has the ability to transform into various monsters that he defeats and can use their attacks and powers. The ring menu used to select Mint's magic attacks or Rue's shape-shifting is reminiscent of the menu system in Secret of Mana. The music in this game is composed by Junya Nakano who has worked on several other games for Square A soundtrack was released in Japan (titled Dewprism OST), and was available via import for several years in other countries.
