What Every Creationist Must DENY Evolution is a scientific THEORY. Theories are supported by MILLIONS of independently verifiable FACTS. To deny evolution is to deny all of those facts and the hundreds of scientific techniques used to observe them. Worse yet, to deny evolution is to deny reason and logic, the core of the scientific method. Creationists are willing to deny all of this for evolution, yet have no problem exploiting the fruits of science for their own benefit, i.e. cars, computers, modern medicine. Just like falling is a fact and gravity is a theory that describes why you fall, organisms evolving and speciating are facts and the theory of evolution explains why. If you are willing to deny evolution, why not gravity, germs, atoms, electricity, etc. They are all theories too. Funny thing is, evolution, both micro and macro, have been directly observed. So to deny evolution is to deny a direct observation. It's the equivalent of denying the sky is blue yet refusing to look up. I should add, scientists do not BELIEVE in evolution. We ACCEPT it because of the enormous pile of data supporting it. Just like we accept that gravity follows an inverse square law, matter is composed of atoms, germs cause disease, and moving electrons constitute electricity. Scientific theories are not a faith. The Men Who Deny Christ pt 1 The video begins with a hilarious rebuke from Tony Smith to all false preachers. This was a sermon I did in the summer of 2006, the first one I ever did. I was and still am growing in Christ, which means I know now more than I did before. Because of Youtube standards, this sermon is divided into 6 parts, so please watch all six before you comment. The title says it all. This part shows clips from Oprah Winfrey denying Christ, the Puerto Rican who calls himelf Jesus Christ Man, and a little bit from Klaus Kinski's Jesus tour where he rants about Christ in the temple. This is just the set up for the main bulk of the message, which is about men who deny that Christ is the only way, and deny WHO He is. So far five women have come forward with similar cases of abuse at this Stark County jail, including one that was a victim of a sexual assault while employed at an Ohio medium security prison. The woman in the video, Hope Steffey, tried to hold Sheriff Swenson, who happened to get elected President of the Sheriff's Association in Ohio for 2008, and his fellow police officers responsible for their actions, but the sheriff denies all allegations and the government was able to convince a grand jury to drop all criminal charges against them without even interviewing the victim. Marc Dann, the Attorney General of Ohio, who was supposed to handle the investigation, recently resigned after being caught in a sex scandal. "The special prosecutors in the Hope Steffey case said Thursday that there was no strip search and no criminal wrongdoing by the Stark County sheriff's deputies." Hope Steffey originally had the police called for help after being assaulted. When police saw the ID of Steffey's dead sister, which Steffey keeps with her in remembrance, they confiscated it and refused to return it. When Steffey became upset, the police threw her to the ground, chipped her tooth, and arrested her for "disorderly conduct," and resisting arrest. Suspiciously, the arresting officer had turned off his dash camera, which is supposed to be on. The police have also 'lost' the video or claimed that the hand-held video camera that you can see filming in the other Youtube video was not working - yet you can clearly see the camera working in the security camera footage. After the police got Hope to jail, one of the questions they asked her is if she had ever been suicidal. When Hope replied with, "now or ever," the police immediately decided she was a suicide threat and that she needed to have all her clothes stripped off, including her underwear, panties and bra, exposing her bare naked ass, breasts, and vagina in front of the male officers while they forcefully grabbed her naked body and pinned her down. After they were done with her, they left her naked for six hours. This is a clear sign of excessive government -- when the government is so large and powerful that it's agents can abuse the civilian population without any sense of guilt, remorse, or fear, when government officials deny charges of improper conduct as a matter of semantics, and when agents of the government expect and get immunity from any of their actions; actions that would be criminally prosecuted upon any other citizen. Those that stand up for liberty and the U.S. Constitution, such as Congressman Ron Paul, who has been called the Thomas Jefferson of our day, are the only hope for America. The only hope for returning our empire of a government to it's proper Constitutional levels of national defense, upholding the law, and protecting individual liberties. Why Young Earth Creationists Must Deny Gravity, Part II Young Earth Creationists have two options to explain how we can see distant objects in the universe. Either the universe is small or the speed of light was faster in the past. In this video we explore the first option. Simulations show that making the universe small causes many systems to become unstable. Here I simulate our solar system and the large magellanic cloud. In less than 1 year our solar system falls into the LMC and gets ripped apart. This outcome is not unique to the LMC. Any large object in the universe placed 2 million times closer will cause the exact same result. A few notes about the simulator. The smaller you make the time step the more accurate the results. Basically, it iterates Newton's theory of gravity over discrete time intervals. Of course, making it too small will require your computer to run for many many hours. The simulations I showed in the video used t_step = 1 (meaning it recalculates the position of every object every second in simulation time). The output of the gravity.m function can then be fed into the plotplanets.m function to create an avi video file. You will need to place the planetsposition.mat file in your MatLab/work folder.
