MU) Background Music: A Neverending Dream Megamix by DJ JC Description: Well, I'm back from a long Hiatus, so let me make it short as to why this video is different, namely my character choice. I wouldn't be playing Mugen today if it weren't for my boy, Popeye, ha-cha-cha-cha,cha,cha (bad Jimmy Durante impersonation). Me and my brother were searching Youtube for old school Popeye cartoons, when we came upon the classic Popeye vs. Ryu video and the one of someone playing Popeye in a real life group setting. After we saw that, we were hooked. So it's no surprise that after 5 character changes, I come full circle to the guy that made me into the Mugen nut I am today. He was my 1st character I ever played, so this video (and others to come in the future) are gonna be about Popeye de Sailor. Today, he goes against the Big Kahuna of SF3 himself, Gill. This guy has massive health, annoying (yet effective) combos, and his AI knows when and how to use what he has in his arsenal. A dangerous opponent and a Boss character through and through (just play against him and you'll know what I mean). On a side note: 1: Sorry for the quality. Still experimenting with Snagit. On the bright side, I got over 7 minutes on this video with about the same quality as my others. 2: In the 3rd round, I almost finish him off, but a bug that sometimes happens with him is he will be untouchable after a stray combo/super/etc (no idea what triggers it off). 3: Does he ever change his underwear or what? I mean seriously that's all I see him in! Wonder how bad that must reek? It could be the source of his power... Credits: To all names whom I listed in this description (including Jimmy Durante). Kendall Gill - K. G. Kendall Cedric Gill (born May 25, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois) is a retired American professional basketball player, now professional boxer and sports analyst. Gill was chosen in the 1990 NBA Draft with the fifth overall pick by the Charlotte Hornets, and was named First Team All-Rookie for the 1990-91 season. Kendall also participated in an NBA Slam-Dunk Competition. Gill played in 15 seasons in the NBA for the Hornets (including two separate stints), Seattle SuperSonics, New Jersey Nets, Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves, Chicago Bulls, and Milwaukee Bucks. In two different seasons Gill averaged over 20 points per game, first as a second-year player for the Hornets in 1991-92 (20.5 ppg), and again for the Nets in 1996-97 (21.8 ppg). In the 1997-98 NBA season, Gill led the league in steals as a member of the Nets. On April 3, 1999, he recorded 11 steals in a game against Miami, tying Larry Kenon's single-game record. Gill's career totals include 12,914 points in 966 regular season games. As a means to maintain his conditioning, Gill took up boxing, eventually entering the professional ranks. Gill had his first bout on June 25, 2005 at the age of 37, and has won all three professional bouts and is ranked #449 in the world (out of 745) as a cruiserweight.
