Deltic 55022 loads of clag Cambrian Snowdonian railtour Deltic 55022 'Royal Scots Grey' made a first ever (for the class) visit to Pwllheli on Saturday 12th July 2008, at the head of a Pathfinder Railtours special from Preston. Here we see the railtour on the return leg, coming out of Frongoch Tunnel and passing Gogarth on the 35mph 'deviation' from Aberdovey, and opening up (rather spectacularly) onto the 55mph track towards Dovey Junction. Passers-by could have been forgiven for wondering if the August steam specials had started early...!
