Haiku OS Test Demo October 2008 This is a demo I made of Haiku, an open source OS that aims to be a replacement for the venerable BeOS, it is BeOS binary compatible and a lot of programs I show are actually BeOS R5 Apps, (Firefox, VLC, Thunderbird, etc.) I have been using it in VMware for the past few years and in the past few months it has stabilized enough that I decided to install it on an actual machine. Keep in mind that this build of Haiku has a lot of debugging code enabled and is not nearly as optimized as the release version will be.
