Jail Abuse Summit County Jail Akron, Ohio The sister's name is Sounder James. She is clearly saying that she doesn't want the deputies to inject her with anything. We believe the initial injection is to induce behavior that is then justified for using force. The fact that they do these things to women should wake up a few people. The deputies are known as the extraction unit. They work for the Summit County Jail here in Akron Ohio. They are used to tranport inmates who have allegedly been mishaving. Inmates are injected with a drug cocktail many times by the deputies NOT by nurses. As you can see some times they are naked. Once moved they are tied down with leather restraints. We have reason to believe that the deputies inject them to make them act "crazy" and then the nurse comes and gives a counter injection. You can see how the woman gets really wild and pulls off the restraint. I learned about this practice from a former inmate who was kept naked for weeks, tied down in 4 point leather restraints and injected. He was also beat, kicked, hit with a metal pole and raped. Last summer a 28 year old man was killed by this team. He was injected and when they went to check on him he was dead. He was beat so bad the family kept the casket closed. They didn't have the courage of Emitt Till's mother. The skin was peeled off his face. The autoposy showed "unspecified anal injuries". This guy weighed 300 lbs. Many times they take the inmates to the mental health ward because they have mental illness. This doesn't seem like appropriate treatment for mentally ill people. The authorities refused to believe a former inmate who had been given the injections so Im here to show you how it's done. This is the first of many. There are records for 100 extractions during 2006 which means there are video tapes for each one. Five deputies were indicted last week. They were all given signature bonds Tuesday. Clexane Injection There are at least half a dozen correct ways to give a subcutaneous injection. This does not exactly follow the precise method detailed on the package, but is functionally equivalent. Even so, you should consult your health care professional before giving your clexane/lovenox injection, rather than blindly following some video you saw on youtube. The advantage of this technique is that, speaking from personal experience, it minimises pain and eliminates bruising. The disadvantage is that it's a less foolproof technique, and requires a little more understanding of what you're doing, as opposed to just following steps by rote. Basically, the only difference is that you pinch in a more gentle, rollig fashion. This means you can release the pinch without disturbing the tip of the needle, inject more steadily, and pull the skin taught at the end for a hygeinic seal. All other steps are the same. However, I would strongly advise practising under the supervision of a trained professional to make sure you are still getting the medication correctly delivered in an appropriate way. Ideally, you should have this supervision at first no matter what technique you are using. A person of reasonable intelligence will not need me to point out that before and after steps common to all injections have not been shown in this video. This is not meant to imply that it is ok to (for instance) inject yourself whilst your hands are smeared with dog faeces, or to dispose of your needles by tossing them into sandpits at kids' playgrounds. NEITHER OF THESE ARE CORRECT. However, I thought this was obvious enough not to waste your precious bandwidth by waffling on about it in the video.
