But thanks to four hours of dance lessons a day, their behaviour has been transformed. Previously, Cebu prison was a wretched place ruled by rival gangs. But when the warden introduced dance lessons, everything changed. "Everyone became friends". Now the prisoners spend most of the day practising new routines. Danny Noriega - Jailhouse Rock I have never EVER EVER EVER been so invested in a contestant since the beginning. Even with Carrie it took me some time to warm up to her. I usually pick my favorites early on and none of them make it out of Hollywood. I vote for my 'new' favorites in the Top 24 and they usually are the first ones to go (making me believe if I 'want' a contestant to stay, I just shouldn't vote cause I'm obviously cursed). But it looks like the phones have finally forgiven me, because I stay the full 2 hours typing in Danny's numbers. And he's still here! Horray! *Throws confetti in air and spins around* All you Fag Bashers can laugh or scream all you want, because that big fat HOMO is still here, singing for us all. I am PROUD of Danny. He's not afraid to be himself, despite the backlash for being this flamboymant, finger-snapping, neck swerving gay boy. And he's not bending over backwards to get on the our good side, thankfully sparing us 'Oh Golly, Gosh, Gee' act that SOMEBODY (I won't say who) keeps giving us. But his being gay will have Half of America rooting for him, and the other half hating him. One guy wrote: He's such a Fag. To which I quickly wrote: I know! Isn't it Great! It's like saying Matt Damon is White. I'm really rambling on and on, and I regret it sounding like a Public Service Announcement, but this stuff needs to be said: I grew up in a household where we believed in being 'nice.' Sorry. We were told to respect other people and their opinions, never judge others, that sorta thing. Maybe it's cause my mom was a hippie. So growing up, I saw the world as having billions of people with billions of ways to be. Some people like Burger King. I prefer McDonalds. Some people actually prefer salads. I like roller coasters. My sister can't stand them. Some people have blue eyes. Some have brown and green. Some have black hair, some have brown. Some people are gay, and some are not. All the criticisms have been towards Danny's persona, which is fine because he did nothing wrong: THEY'RE the ignorant ones; THEY'RE the ones who need to pull the sticks from their 'anal cavities.' His voice is amazing, and to dismiss his talent because 'he doesn't act the way 'man' is supposed to act' is indescribably idiotic, and I hate that; it's beyond disgusting. I can't stand that that prejudice like that is still around. It's keeping us from evolving. It's 2008. Grow Up America. And when I audition (and I plan to), I will be just as gay. Jailhouse Rock/Hound Dog "Jailhouse Rock/Hound Dog" This is my most recent updated appearance as Elvis at the Redwood County Fair courtesy of DJ Chopper this past summer of 2007. This was another mini-comeback attempt to recapture the spotlight I once had on me years ago. It was my first Elvis show in two years. The response was medicore & politely moderate. I already had performed at the Redwood Fair once eight years ago when I was in my prime. If you've already seen my younger videos it's not hard to notice some differences but overall I would say this was alright.
