Persephone, Kecharitomene My tribute to Persephone, the Greek goddess of spring and the underworld. I wrote the lyrics, which are meant to go along with the tune of the song. Sorry they don't show up in some frames, but they're all here: Glorious Persephone Of the Soul's Dark Night, Glorious Persephone, Guide us to the light. Beautiful Persephone, Daughter of the Spring, Beautiful Persephone, Hear us as we sing. Gracious, sweet duality Of the human soul, Timeless great divinity, Come and make us whole. Wondrous One, Persephone, Pomegranate Queen, Wondrous One, Persephone, Bride of the Unseen. As you come of age, you bring Autumn's sweet repose. Let the earth rejuvenate Through the path you chose. Proserpine, Proserpine, Proserpine, Evoe. Fair and Just Persephone, Of the life reborn, Fair and Just Persephone, Guide us to the morn. Shroud us in your mystery, Lead us in your ways, Daughter-Queen Persephone, Smile upon our praise. Sweet and Kind Persephone, Goddess soft and dear, Sweet and Kind Persephone, Hold your people near. Stir in us exuberance For the paths we choose. Wake in us acceptance of Things that we must lose. Filled with grace, Persephone, Maidenly and mild, Filled with grace, Persephone, Sensual and wild. Ancient One, Transforming One, Ready us to meet, Every trial, every change, Never with retreat. Proserpine, Proserpine, Proserpine, Evoe. Radiant Persephone, Lady of all who die, Radiant Persephone, Hear us as we cry. You are not forsaken now, Aspect we adore, We return to honor you, Now and evermore. Kecharitomene - Music Video Experimental short film inspired by and set to Loreena McKennit's "Kecharitomene" (album: An Ancient Muse). I could go into a long artistic ramble but I'll spare you. I could also go into a long philosophical ramble about how I think art should speak for itself and thus you avoided the artistic ramble. Anyway, if you've bothered reading this far, enjoy :) Tags: Loreena McKennit music video short film experimental Kecharitomene Tharkun Smith fire water elemental celtic sunset |

Kecharitomene The greek word "Kecharitomene" means "Full of Grace". In Luke 1:28, the angel (Elohim) Gabriel's salutation to Mary: "Chaire, Kecharitomene". (in simple translation: Hail, Full of Grace.) I think in the meaning of this word to the ancient greeks there is a relationship to the admiration of the Goddess in pre-paternal culture. Farscape Fan Video Rhapsody In Blue Kecharitomene Hello All. This was very time consuming to put together as I had problems with the program I was using. This is I think my 5th Farscape video. My plan is to make a video for every single episode which is going to take forever! Anyway, the song is called Kecharitomene By Loreena Mckennitt from her CD An Ancient Muse. I think I could have done better, so I made an alternate version as well. Enjoy, comment, and share! Hope you like it! If not that's ok to as it's not my favorite either! Drink From The Cup of Suffering! Trinken der Tasse Leiden! Beba da xícara de sofrer! Buvez tasse de souffrir! Beva tazza soffrire! Mary's Immaculate Conception last part: by Father William G. Most Preventive redemption We have said that Mary needed redemption, although she was never subject to original sin. Nor did she have an "obligation" to contract it, as some have foolishly said: there can be no obligation to any sin. We can merely say she would have been in original sin in the sense just explained, i.e. , she would have been born without grace, were it not for the preventive redemption. The word "preventive" means anticipatory: the grace she received at her conception was given in anticipation (Latin praevenire) of Christ's merits, which earned that grace. The nature of Mary's grace at the Immaculate Conception In Lk 1:28 the archangel hails her as, "full of grace". Most versions today do not use that rendering, but greatly weaken it. Yet it is the correct translation as we can see from the Magisterium (Pius XII, Fulgens Corona, AAS 45, 579, and constant use of the Church) and also from philology. For the Greek word in the Gospel is kecharitomene. It is a perfect passive participle of the verb charitoo. A perfect passive participle is very strong. In addition, charitoo belongs to a group of verbs ending in omicron omega. They have in common that they mean to put a person or thing into the state indicated by the root. Thus leukos means white, so leukoo means to make white. Then charitoo should mean to put into charis. That word charis can mean either favor or grace. But if we translate by favor, we must keep firmly in mind that favor must not mean merely that God, as it were, sits there and smiles at someone, without giving anything. That would be Pelagian: salvation possible without grace. So for certain, God does give something, and that something is grace, are share in His own life. So charitoo means to put into grace. But then too, kecharitomene is used in place of the name "Mary". This is like our English usage in which we say, for example, someone is Mr. Tennis. That means he is the ultimate in tennis. So then kecharitomene should mean "Miss Grace", the ultimate in grace. Hence we could reason that fullness of grace implies an Immaculate Conception. Overflowing grace: Pius IX, in the document, Ineffabilis Deus, defining the Immaculate Conception in 1854 wrote: "He [God] attended her with such great love, more than all other creatures, that in her alone He took singular pleasure. Wherefore He so wonderfully filled her, more than all angelic spirits and all the Saints, with an abundance of all heavenly gifts taken from the treasury of the divinity, that she, always free from absolutely every stain of sin, and completely beautiful and perfect, presented such a fullness of innocence and holiness that none greater under God can be thought of, and no one but God can comprehend it." What about the words of Jesus in Lk 11:27-28 (cf. Mt. 12:46-50 and Mk 3:35)? A woman in the crowd exclaimed: "Blessed is the womb that bore you...." He replied: "Rather blessed are they who hear the word of God and keep it." The dignity of being Mother of God is a quasi infinite dignity, as we just saw from the words of Pius XI. Yet here, our Lord is teaching us that the holiness coming from hearing the word of God and keeping it is something greater still. Her holiness must indeed be great--so great that "none greater under God can be thought of, and no one but God can comprehend it." Even though Mary was full of grace at the start of her life, yet she could still grow, for, as it were, her capacity for grace could increase. In general, a soul will grow in proportion to these things: (1) The greater the dignity of the person, the greater the merit In her case, the dignity of Mother of God is the highest possible for a creature. (2) The greater the work, the greater the merit: her cooperation in the redemption was the greatest work possible to a creature. (3) The greater the love, the greater the merit. Love of God means the attachment of our will to His. Her will adhered supremely, with no obstacle at all, so that even ordinary household duties, which she saw as the will of the Father for her, were supremely valuable. A ti?? Tear of the soul I wrote this poem after going to Holy Mass at St. Cedds Church. This poem is dedicated to the Blessed virgin Mary. The poem was actually missing the stanza beginning with "Courage of the pure". However it was added after my sister told me that the poem needed another stanza of hope and Love for it to be complete. The Lord provided. This poem was written on the 27th April 2008 by Kecharitomene 7. Dedicated to the Blessed virgin Mary. Who do you say that I AM? Who do you say that I AM? I wrote this on the weeks coming up to Sunday, November 25, 2007. On this day I sang this in a rap like fashion to my teenage confirmation class. The confirmation class then wrote their own poems and songs etc after my poetic song. I thought I would share the lyrics. All the images come from google images. This is non profit and I do not claim any of the images are mine. The images as the song are used simply as a fan made production. I adopted the images and instrumental of mocking bird for artistic value to add to the lyrics of the poem that I wrote. The background song is an instrumental version of Mockingbird by Eminem (2004) . For copyrite reasons this is a fan made production using the instrumental version of Mockingbird. This is nonprofit and I do not claim to be eminem or this work to be associated with eminem or any of his logos/aliases names etc... The actual lyrics were written by me and first performed to my confirmation group on November 25, 2007. At some point in the future I will like to record my sung version of the lyrics and upload it. The lyrics were written down after going to Mass at St. Cedds Catholic Church. God bless ya all Dedicated to Mother Mary and Jesus Christ my Lord. Contraceptive is he who denies what could be A poem I wrote about being open to life after going to Mass today at St. Cedds Catholic Church. Here is the poem if any difficulty reading it from the vid: Behold the woman laden with doubt Turbulence and confusion cloud the thoughts of the lady Holding her hand close to his chest the madam is soothed by the rhythm of his heart Better to choose life in a culture robed in the finery of death Touched should our hearts be by the sacred intimacy of union yet how we madly block the fruits of the two joined as one Held in prides grasp we believe the sound of money holds gospel truth at the pulpit Blessed are the married lovers who courageously feast at the rich table of life The man rather die then let the serpent's malice prevent the fruit of the womb taking root in his beloved Heavens euphoria is embraced by the Adam and Eves who are open to the bounty and not self absorbed Broken by the bile of venom that poisons the children of God from being fruitful Tentatively planning by the timid frightened to bear life due to the loss of presumed fortunes Have no couple trust in the providence of the almighty who gives everything to the selfless? Bright is the light of day for the faithful who choose sanctity over selfishness The Mother once gave birth to the hope of a nation How the life bearers sing in joy to the heroic generosity of their choice not to be governed by the contraceptive mentality Written by Kecharitomene on the 13th May 2008 Tags: Contraception safe sex love truth life Jesus Mary Mother Family sanctity courage |

Mother Mary Mother Mary/ Watch in high quality to view correctly Mother, woman adorned in the sun clothed in the fragrance of God's love Mother of Christ beloved of the Father Treasure of heaven created to give birth to the God-Man The morning star cried I will not serve or have my glory taken from me Murderer, thief, liar reached for what he could not have Michael, warrior from the lower ranks of archangels roared, "Who is Like God!" Turmoil of the angels forced to choose sides strengthened by heroic Michael or seduced by the satanic Lucifer Thrown out of heaven like lightning to the war cry of WHO IS LIKE GOD Maddened by grief, rage, despair and seperation the angelic beauty transformed, darkened by demonic insanity Malice cursing the Almighty One led man astray Theotokos, mother of God will crush the serpant's head and silence his lies with Theanthropos Triumphant Alpha and the Omega beginning without end will conquer all hearts This poem was written after praying some rosaries on the 7th of September 2008.
