Willard Christopher "Will" Smith, Jr. (born September 25, 1968) is a Golden Globe and a two time Academy Award-nominated American actor, and a multiple Grammy Award-winning hip hop artist. He is one of a small group of people who have enjoyed success in three major entertainment media in the United States. Newsweek has called him the most powerful actor on the planet.[1] Smith's most notable television role was that of William "Will" Smith in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. In his film work, his notable roles include Agent J in Men in Black and Men in Black II, Muhammad Ali in Ali, as well as his role in the blockbuster Independence Day and more recently as Chris Gardner in The Pursuit of Happyness with his son Jaden Smith. Smith started as the MC of the hip-hop duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince, with his childhood friend Jeffrey "DJ Jazzy Jeff" Townes as turntablist and producer as well as Ready Rock C (Clarence Holmes) as the human beat box. The trio was known for performing humorous, radio-friendly songs, most notably "Parents Just Don't Understand" and "Summertime." They gained critical acclaim for winning the first ever Grammy in the Rap category (1988). He had a line in "Voices That Care", a 1991 Gulf War song by a celebrity group. Legend of Zelda Medley in String Quartet Form Arranged by Chad Schwartz For my Senior Cello Recital at James Madison University in March 2006, I decided that my recital needed something extra. This is the encore of my recital. If you can name all of the zelda themes used in this medley, you are as cool as me. Enjoy! for those wondering how i got the sheet music. i listened to the hyrule symphony mp3 and figured out all the parts from that and put it in finale. i then added two sections (dungeon from link 2 and zeldas lullaby) and changed around some other stuff (like adding the full version of the original). ***600,000 views! WOW!!!*** I just finished updating this medley (adding stuff from WW and TP and fixing some small things) and should have a video of that at some point in the next month or two. I am also now taking suggestions for a new video game medley. Let me know what you would like to hear! Corinne Bailey Rae, John Legend & John Mayer 2007 Grammys HQ This unlikely trio astounded the audience at the 2007 Grammys. Corinne Bailey Rae, John Legend, and John Mayer took the stage together and each artist sang one of their songs while being accompanied by the other two. Rae started with "Like A Star" followed by a gorgeous "Coming Home" by John Legend. Rae harmonizing on the chorus with Legend was chill-inducing and brought me to tears.
