I was way back in block 205 in the O2 Arena, so it was difficult to get a good video. Anyway it was a great concert, very enjoyable. At this stage of his world tour this man just does not give up. Leonard Cohen Interview, March 1985 (Part 3) An interview with Leonard Cohen from a bootleg concert CD I have. The concert is listed as happening March 22, 1985 in Warsaw, Poland. I assume the interview happened on or around that date as well. This was an interested period for Leonard Cohen. Although he had plenty of fans, he had no label support. He talks about that in his interview. He also has interesting things to say about Bob Dylan, Nick Cave, Phil Spector and more. In part three, Cohen responds to Dylan's critics who thought he was washed up while going through his Christian period. Cohen says: "Dylan, to me, is the Picasso of song... When you're talking about a man like Dylan you can never write him off..." And, of course, Cohen was correct. Cohen also talks about his collaboration with Phil Spector here. My favorite part: Interviewer: "Is Phil Spector as crazy as people say he is?" Cohen: "Yes, he's a lot crazier than people say he is." Again, Cohen tells it like it is.
