Rudimentary Peni meets H. P. Lovecraft (High Quality) CLICK ON "WATCH IN HIGH QUALITY." Combines 2 audio tracks from Rudimentary Peni with scanned images from 2 out of print sources. The songs used are "Twitch" (Nick Blinko's incredible Lovecraft monologue) and "Imps of The Perverse." All images (except the lyrics) are from the 1979 October issue of Heavy Metal magazine (which was dedicated to HPL) and a book of Lovecraft's letters released in 1975 called "Lovecraft at Last" by Willis Conover (a young aspiring author who corresponded with HPL) which also contains several photographs. It gave me a chance to create a homage to one of my favorite authors, and my all time favorite punk band (still going after 30 years!). If you like this video and don't know Rudimentary Peni, you owe it to yourself to hear their recordings (see below). I AM PROVIDENCE Unfortunately, despite the requests made on my original post of this video many months ago, I have decided not to enable embedding. The reason is simple. Embedding links to the "standard quality" version of this video, which looks like dog poop. This would not be a fitting tribute to Rudimentary Peni or H. P. Lovecraft. It also reduces the work I did to a blocky, indistinct mess. I uploaded an enormous file of this video (almost 400Mb) so that there would be a chance people can see it the way it was intended to be viewed. If there was some way to bypass the standard version and have embedding link to only the high quality version, I would happily enable it. But I don't know of any way to do this. It sucks, because I'd love to share this with any and all who might appreciate it, but the truth is I'd rather they never saw it at all if what they see is the standard quality version (even the high quality version reduces the super fast backgrounds under the lyrics to mud).
