A nice folder with CDs, the users manual... the headphones! Directmedia should be somewhere here... yep, Mediadirect, here it is. The remote controller is over here, with it's battery. Roxio creator, MyDVD, Drivers, Vista reinstalation kit, Works 8.0 and license key. Let's go to the big thing. This is a travel bag with magnets... A cover thingy... DELL XPS M1530/M1330 Touchpad Problem Solution I also heard that you can tap the center of the touchpad twice and it should work just as well. I tried it and it worked. GOOD LUCK! Just a little simple video of what i did to fix my m1530 touchpad problem. A lot of people have the problem where is jumps around like crazy. This is my little way to fix it. Fingerprint didn't come out, we'll have a look at it later. Lot's of things to prepare, Vista... Webcam with microphones, two microphones indeed, and a LED. We didn't noticed before but the lid closes with the hinges going hard, going like clac. LEDs up there, battery, wi-fi, bluetooth, media buttons... Let's try hearing the CD, nope, maybe it needs to load windows? (Note: Actually it was because it didn't hace a CD inside). Ok... when it finally stops loading we'll look at My PC... those are a few apps, I hope not too many... And thingys down there, oh battery is at 100% Whats this... start using your pc... close. Well there are the specs, you can see... Core 2 Duo T7500 2.2Ghz 4Mb cache, 3Gb of RAM... well you can't really see it because thats blurry, but I'm reading it anyway... Then... well 3Gb of RAM is crappy looking forward for Dual-Channel, but you can always buy another 2Gb module. Look, still loading, this right bar thingy... We should have plugged in a mouse by the way... Where did you see the Vista putuation thing? Oh 4.7, that's a bit low isn't it? Uhm over 6? well... Graphics 5 dot... well let's start with the first one. Processor 5.1, RAM 4.7, Graphics 5.9, Game Graphics 5.5 and HDD 5.2, thats de 250Gb 5400rpm one. Well... Lets look at some more specs here... all there is... I don't know how well this will come out... (Note: whatever) Ah by the way thats de 4440 x 900 screen, yeah I mean the 1440 x 900 lol... The wxga+. It's really nice, colors are bright and windows small. Let's have a look at apps: Adobe Reader, nice... MediaDirect... some Dell apps like Quicksearch, Support Center and Webcam, things to uninstall anyway... Intel Matrix Storage Manager, I don't know what this is... Games, McAffe 30day Demo... Works... Proyector Suit QL, oh! that's the fingerprint! Note: The 4.7 is very nice indeed, as Vista takes the lower value as the score, the rest of them are over 5.1, I would say that's really enough... By the way, an Inspiron with 2Gb of RAM got 4.8 in the RAM test, that's weird. The webcam thingy is actually really cool. Seguiré escribiendo en mi blog. (Note: we weren't sure it was GDDR3 in Spain). It's been 10 minutes with the laptop switched on, and we have already been asked for four updates, two restarts... anyway... let's have a look at the fingerprint. Ok, add user... password... ok, pass the finger through there, let's see if I can handle it... nope, one wrong, two wrong... loool try again, 1down. Goood, ok, ok... ops. Restart tutorial, ok... look, something down there is asking for reboot, or installing or accepting... Oh so it's just a practice, fine, skip. Ok so... you click a finger and scan the fingerprint... nice. Ok it says over here that you can scan all your fingers, but it's ok with four... ah, with two... ok.... You are using a recovery password for... ok... accept... windows update... no! Let's try closing session to see it working... It's always nice to have more than one finger so if you get it ripped off... Ehm, I suppose you see the screen reflecting... if it was looking to the window it would be very nasty... Anyway you can see me I think, yes... well, good for you. This is black, it isn't doing anything? Uhm, I'm pressing this let's see what it does... Ops turned off? Yep... Ah by the way we'll be looking at the CD noise now, that it was so commented in (english) forums, it didn't look so impressive to me. Hehe I hybernated it xD Those fonts aren't too pretty... Oh, hey that's not the fingerprint.. ah there it is! Wrong... omg who was using my laptop? lol... ok... (Note: Fingerprint is really cool, you just need to get used to it) Ok the CD, let's close in the camera... so thats the noise, let's eject it... (that's our wi-fi password). Accept, accept, licenses and stuff... Insert name, Juan (John) for example, oh, what a coincidence, my name is Juan. A password... Robot.. Laptop name... Keyboard is REALLY nice. This wallpaper is cool... Ok, fine, don't mention it. By the way, it's 16th January, as you can see there, Dell said at first it will be arriving today, the said 31st, then UPS called for 17th. Finally it was 16th which has been a nice surprise. Windows doing who-knows-what... Let's pray it's ok... Yep, it's much funnier if it's glossy... This video is going to take forever...
