M337 on April 21, 08 With WC 6006 trailing This is IC (CN) M337 at MP.77.35 on the Iowa Div. with a CN widecab SD40-2, and a former WC (Ex-Algoma Central) SD40-2. Sounded like they were in Dynamic Braking when passing me. This part of the line is on a nice downhill slope for about 5 miles Westbound, and bottoms out about a mile West of where I am standing, then it's all uphill again for a few miles. Xtra M337 with TWO IC GP40R's leading a CN barn 5/13/09 This was an Extra M337 ran across the IC (CN) Iowa Div. on 5/12(13)/08. The video was done at Irene, Il. What made it special was the fact that there were two original IC GP40R's on the point, IC 3137, and IC 3117, followed by a CN Zebra stripped "Barn." BotheThere aren't many GP40R's left of the old IC/G. Getting two on a train, and leading is fairly rare. As it was, I waited for this train for almost four hours after hearing about it coming out of Chicago. It got delayed by another train getting out of the Chicago area....but it was well worth the wait!! M337 @ Irene, IL. 5/13/08 with another IC GP40R and IC 9560 This is the M337 for 5/13/08. After being re-crewed at Genoa, Il. and on her way again towards Freeport, Il., Behind the CN 5340 is another IC GP40R, the 3138, and the GP38-2 IC 9560 now in CN colors (Darn it). In the last 24 hours, there have been at least three IC GP40R's head for Iowa. It's kinda like the good ole' days. Sharp eyed viewers of my videos will notice that the IC 9560 is featured in a few videos of mine in her Deathstar scheme. This units is also former GM&O. Also, in the middle of the train is a green "Saskatchewan" cylindrical hopper. Apparently, that province is so proud and protective of that scheme, they will not allow modeling of it.....period. M337-17 running late at MP 77.35. **DARK VIDEO** This is the Westbound manifest on the Eastern end of the IC (CN) Iowa Div. shot at approx 2330 hours on 4/17/08. The power is a CNIC Sd40-2 61XX/UP Sd60 2157 (?) and GTW ghost 5946 (?). These were the same power that brought M338-16 past last evening. M337 "Land Barge" going by MP 77.35 6/9/08 beautiful sunset Tonight's M337 was by me at approx 8:45PM. I had been waiting for almost 2 1/2 hours out here with gloomy skies and chilly temps. Lo and behold, as M337 got to me, the sum peeked out, and we had one of the most beautiful sunsets ever here. This was shot in two segnments, as the train was over 8000 Ft. long and took over three min. to get past. Someday, I hope to learn how to join them together.
