Here's Maggie's thoughts on her latest: "Ok, I finally "completed" a video. It was intended for an experimental MEP project that I had to bail out on due to PC problems. Its short and sweet. However, the video itself has been finished long before these problems occurred. But due to my partner not giving me their piece in time, the project had to be abandoned. This video is about Yuna and her brief incidents with Tidus, Shuyin, Seymore, and Lenne. Leading her to stress, confusion, depression, and maybe even suicide. All while having to decide who she wants to be with, thinking, and descending into madness along with all her love interests. Affecting all those involved and in the end possibly destroying their lives. What's a girl to do? Yeah, I know what you're thinking. WTH? That never happened in FF X and X-2! Well I thought I'd stray a bit and make up my own story... It was an extremely tough video to make being so limited on clips as it was and with all the cuts I had to make. My WMM Days-Love Affair-First Video Ever! Well, at one point nearly all of us started with Windows Movie Maker and a lot of my recent friends have been wanting to see my much older videos. This video is the very first of them. This is the first thing I EVER DID using WMM, which was released 1 year later at Final Fantasy Hybrid. I first discovered this program by accident and had no footage to use so I went and got Final Fantasy Footage and put this together. This is the start of my obsession with video editing. Never ended since then either. Also before the merging of Maggie and Ivy...MaggIvy. This video is mainly about Yuna and her flings with numerous men in Final Fantasy X.In the end, she flies away..that was the idea I had while I was making it. Me Vs. Ray Well I finally got a hold of MGS4 and was able to capture in HD using my new capture card, Intensity Pro. Using Sorenson Squeeze I managed to bring it down to a decent size for streaming on sites like youtube and the like. This is going to be my first real HD capture set coming soon for public release. This is Me Vs. Ray in MGS4, Act 4. One of my favorite fights and I did pretty good. I also liked the music. Oh and just because I can: Snake: Fox! Sorry for the crap quality, its youtube at its worst again... This summer, I finally got myself my first laptop ever, a macbook. And being an obsessive editor like I am I just HAD to see if I can make a video on it with Final Cut Pro. I did and I was extremely happy with the final results. Anyway, the video is called Project Teamwork and is intended to be used in an MEP (multi editor project) in the near future. This is my piece. I wanted to show how working as a team can sometimes overcome some big challenges (like Bahamut) in this one. As for the song, I KNOW, its overused, overkilled, dead, buried, and decaying but I just HAD to use it. It was short and sweet and I thought it was perfect for my first video made on my mac. Me Vs. Bohan (Redemption) I wasn't sure if I could capture off of my PS3 using an analog capture card so the only way to find out was to try. It took a few tries but I got it to work. What was the first thing I did? Picked up Heavenly Sword and tried to see if I can capture anything with it. So I took on Bohan on Normal mode. I wasn't aiming to win but I did and continued. I've beaten the game more than I can count on both my hands and feet but playing with a capture card is a little more complicated simply cause there is sometimes a lag. And my remote was acting up as well. But to put it in short, this is me fighting Bohan on Normal mode, the third round, testing out my capture card for the first time on PS3. I'm satisfied with it.
