Some ? Blocks can be hit by running into the side of them. When a shell gets destroyed (by explosions or fireballs) while Mario is holding it, he gets stuck holding nothing, unable to pick up anything or shoot projectiles. If an enemy that can be picked up from below (Shy Guy and Snifit from SMB2) is destroyed while Mario is pulling, Mario will get stuck in the pulling animation forever. Some collision detection problems with the walls remain, but it's nothing serious.
