The full frequency spectrum of the RF 8000 goes from 150Khz up to 230Mhz which covers long wave, medium wave, shortwave, fm, VHF/UHF i.e communal services, air traffic control and TV. National Panasonic NV-3085 Black and white Open Reel VTR I was given this VTR in unknown condition. I obtained a reel of tape but I don't have a take up reel yet. At first there was no picture most likely because the contacts on the video head were damaged. I have replaced the tips of them with single strand copper wire, which seems to be working well. No other work was required other than a clean up of the mechanical parts to get recording and playback of video. The audio works in playback but I have not connected an audio input for recoding yet.
