Midnight At The Oasis/Maria Muldaur "Midnight at the Oasis" is a 1974 rock song which was performed by singer Maria Muldaur and was her best known hit, peaking at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100. Written by David Nichtern, the song tells the story of a desert love affair set in old Arabia. All Music Guide reviewer Matthew Greenwald describes the song as "so sensual and evocative that it was probably one of the most replayed records of the era and also may be responsible for the most pregnancies from a record during the mid-'70s." Some of the lyrics are mildly suggestive (i.e., "let's slip off to a sand dune ... and kick up a little dust"), but not sexually explicit. December 27, 1999 One Life To Live Opening Credits-A Debuted:December 23, 1999- After 9 months of the same cast sequence, ABC finally updated it for the upcoming year(was supposed to be updated on January 3, 2000, but because of the "Millenium bug", they decided to do it earlier) This is from the same day ABC updated the Tour of Llanview II sequence. Became opening A, because ABC knowing about Robin Strasser's upcoming departure, decided to switch things around before the next update(April 2000) which would be after she left in 2000. This is from episode that aired on my mom's birthday, that's what makes it special to me. Don't have the episode though, I only bought the opening credits.
