Bienvenue à Poto Poto AURA (Artistes Unis pour le Rap Africain) est un réseau d'artistes africains unis pour la promotion du Hip Hop qui veulent mettre leurs voix et leurs musiques au service du développement de l'Afrique. AURA, est actuellement engagé dans une campagne de sensibilisation portant sur les droits de l'enfant et les problèmes de la jeunesse. Cette campagne, financée par Plan a pour nom POTO-POTO. Elle a officiellement démarré en Juillet 2006. Le projet est structuré autour d'un album centré sur le thème des droits de l'enfant dont le nom sera : « Les histoires extraordinaires des enfants du POTO-POTO». Cet album concept sera la bande son (textes, musiques, bruitages) d'une comédie musicale qui aura pour scène un marché africain : le marché du POTO-POTO. Dans ce marché, des enfants aux origines et situations diverses se croisent, se parlent, entrent en relation avec des adultes, et racontent leurs histoires. Chaque rappeur jouera un rôle singulier et portera les questions liées à son statut: enfant soldat, enfant victime du sida, jeune prostituée, dealer, docteur humaniste, enfant malade, bonne à tout faire, fille mariée de force, enfant de riche « à problèmes » etc. Les concerts du projet POTO-POTO seront la mise en scène de ces rencontres extraordinaires à travers lesquelles on découvre les problèmes des enfants en Afrique. Des clips viendront appuyer la promotion de l'album et préparer les concerts d'une tournée qui prendra la forme d'une caravane traversant plusieurs pays. Une version film de la comédie musicale POTO-POTO sera réalisée, de même qu'un documentaire relatant l'ensemble du processus.
