Robert Plant - Big Log Official music video for Big Log by Robert Plant. Available on the Robert Plant Nine Lives Box Set DVD with 19 other music videos. Lyrics: My love is in league with the freeway It's passion will ride, as the cities fly by And the tail-lights dissolve, in the coming of night And the questions in thousands take flight My love is the miles and the waiting The eyes that just stare, and a glance at the clock And the secret that burns, and the pain that won't stop And it's fuel is the years Leading me on Leading me down the road Driving me on, driving me down the road My love is exceeding the limit Red-eyed and fevered with the hum of the miles Distance and longing, my thoughts do collide Should I rest for a while, on the side Your love is cradled in knowing Eyes in the mirror, still expecting they'll come Sensing to well, when the journey is done There is no turning back, no There is no turning back, on the run. My love is in league with the freeway Oh, the freeway, and the coming of night-time My love, My love, Is in league with the freeway. Tags: Robert Plant |

The Assassination of Robert Kennedy Robert Kennedy's death seemed an open and shut case, yet in spite of the testimonies of seventy-seven witnesses, it remains shrouded in mystery. Many witnesses at the time complained of pressure by the LAPD to change their testimony. For the first time, Plumley exposes how evidence was changed: how an FBI officer saw bullets being removed from the scene of the assassination and how LAPD officers who didn't tow the line found themselves suspended on ridiculous charges or taken off the case. Robert Lockwood, Jr. - Sweet Home Chicago 91 Year Old Blues Legend and N.E.A. Recipient Robert Lockwood, Jr. plays live on stage at the Palace Theatre in Grapevine, Texas About The Blue Shoe Project: Students Should Experience the Blues - The Blue Shoe Project was founded to keep the blues alive by exposing students to the few blues legends still alive and able to pass on their legacy in person by teaching students about the profound impact of the blues on our music history. The Legends of the Blues and those influenced by it are aging or passing and with it their rich history and culture. These legendary figures made a profound impact on American Music and our society and students at all levels should know it, be proud of it and experience it. One of the ways we accomplish this objective is to bring Artists into the classroom for students to experience living history. Whether an industry legend, or a practicing Artist of the Blues, our Education Programs provide students a true appreciation for and a valuable understanding of the history, style, and impact of the Blues, even an opportunity to "play the Blues". The Blue Shoe Project tailors the delivery of blues education to elementary through college students. Programs feature professional, and in some cases "legendary" musicians who are passionate about sharing their extraordinary talent and telling their inspiring stories to students of all ages. Blues is America's Gift to the World - As a country, there is one thing we have undeniably given the world that no other culture can lay claim to, our music. Blues music. Travel outside the US and its Blues they idolize. From the UK to Japan, to South America, Blues above all is the music of all music. One of the reasons Blue Shoe is so passionate about educating Texas students about the blues is the role Texas played in the evolution of blues. Texas was the birthplace of some of the most legendary and influential figures in music history, let alone blues history, including Blind Lemon Jefferson ,T-Bone Walker, Lightnin' Hopkins and Freddie King, to name just a few from a very long list of Texan blues greats. Add the fact that a significant portion of rock-n-roll artists from the '50s through the '70s looked to Texas blues artists for their inspiration. Given this rich history, Blue Shoe believes that Texas should be taking its rightful place by promoting its blues heritage, starting in our schools. Robert F. Kennedy's Statement on Dr. King's Death - Montage Since the movie "Bobby" is going to be released, I created this montage on Robert F. Kennedy's Statement in Indianapolis, IN on Martin Luther King's Assassination, which he made on the night of April 4, 1968. Amid the tragedy of the assassination of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, an extraordinary moment in U.S. political history occurred as Robert F. Kennedy, younger brother of slain President John F. Kennedy, broke the news of King's death to a large gathering of African Americans in Indianapolis, Indiana. Most of the people hadn't even heard that Dr. King had been shot. I can imagine that they were stunned and some cried. But that evening Robert Kennedy spoke from his soul. The words rang in almost a prayerful manner. Carved on the Robert Kennedy's marble gravestone are the words from Aeschylus that he could recite from memory: "He who learns must suffer. And even in our sleep, pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God."
