Popeye vs. Ronald - Ronald's Initiation Contestants: Popeye (v99 by DDR Creations)-Played by Me Ronald McDonald (by kishio)-AI Controlled Stage: "Castle" (by MugenJF) Background Music: Boss Machine (Stepmania) Description: This video is going to be a tad different. This video is an initiation into my Mugen Team. And boy what a character to initiate. Of all people on Earth, the last person you would suspect to be in a fighting game (at least for me) is none other than Ronald McDonald (you heard me right =P). And he ain't no pushover either. Fast attacks (coutesy of Hamburgers/French-Fries/and other paraphernalia of the sort), Lightning-fast uppercuts, a tough and quick striker (cute lil' number to boot) all make this guy a big, BIG reason to fear a clown........ Why am I initiating him into my team? Well he's as close as humanly possible to a cartoon character a Real-Life person can be (who doesn't remember those magical 80's and middle 90's Ronald McDonald Commercials that told stories and had adventures that he, and his pals, went through?). Other than that, he's got some of the zaniest and coolest moves my eyes ever laid eyes on (redundant no?). So here's what we got. His projectiles are Hamburgers, in 3 flavors. A quick single throw affected by gravity (meaning an arc towards the ground). 1 where he has more wind-up, but can throw 4 straight at you. The restriction being it has to be done on the ground. And the 3rd where he can do an aerial flip and throw 1 or more at an angle toward you, basically changing his jump and fall trajectory. He can whack you upside da' face with a large French Fry, and he has a lightning fast uppercut special move that can travel up to your face and smack you so high you'll kiss the Moon. It seems to be able to bypass some projectiles as well. His supers consist of a ground combo ending with an axe kick, a super where he snaps his fingers and a yellow beam fires at you, 2 supers where he sandwiches you (Hey a Pun!) inside a giant Hamburger and either he laughs, snaps his fingers and the thing blows apart/or he hops on top, laughs then procedes to dice and slam it up while you are inside. Pretty tasty no? His final super involves his striker partner where you see her portrait instead, she smiles sweetly at you, then proceeds to punch/blast/and smash you faster than the chaos of the last week of Christmas Shopping in New York City. So to sum it all up in 2 words, "DANG'M Man." And in closing, he's a no brainer for my team. Childhood memories and being able to smash some serious face make this one reason why I love clowns (love/hate relationship thing going on I know (Krusty not so much, he scares me). His mutiny attempt has a pretty lenient timeline, but I was in the neighborhood after dropping the last batch of survivors off... and leaving the security room at all at that point would've resulted in the success of Ronald's mutiny. Self Summary : The story started with a relationship between Ronald and Huyen. They went out together, but then, a girl named Boi, came out of nowhere, start to flirt with Ronald. With Ronald's unfaithfulness, he started to feel careless about Huyen. After a long think, Ronald decided to go out with Boi but still in the relationship with Huyen. On the other side, Ronald didn't know that Huyen is already careless about Ronald, she started to think that the relationship isn't working, so a foil character of Boi named Teddy, came into the scene, he went out with Huyen without Ronald's knowledge. Huyen said that Teddy is way cool-err and better-err than Ronald, so she went out with Teddy and Ronald.
