History's Strongest Disicple Kenichi AMV An Anime Music Video on History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi. Hope to recommend this anime to more people but not to make it popular until a sense that Viz Media or other companies to licensed it, it is just not fair to anime creators. Hard Disk Recording Final Project This final had to do with "Sound for Picture" and my job was to take a quick time video...take out all the sound..and rescore it using the studio,Foley, and FX..everything you hear was recorded step by step (except the music which was provided by i-life and the track is called Dolce Vita) in layers by yours truly. I used the Japanese CGI cartoon "Mr. Stain on Junk Alley" by Ryuji Masuda. espisode #05 The Magic Crayon. these two characters do not talk, they just make gestures and it's a cool little surreal cartoon. The posting of this video is for educational purposes only. I do not claim ownership over this animation. Mr.Stain is a RYUJI MASUDA/HAPPINET PICTURES/S-ONE T-THREE production. Why Can't I? -HQ is oh so fine. -Hey everyone! :D This is something I made in just one day and I must say, that I am pleased with how it came out. It was inspired by a "The Notebook" MV to the same song. I re-created the intro section but after that I just went my own way and made it very different. TRIBUTE TO YOKO SHIMOMURA *THIS WAS NOT PRODUCED BY YOKO SHIMOMURA A CHEMIST PRODUCTION VISIT SOUNDCLICK.COM/CHEMIST FOR MORE HOT TRACKS Yoko Shimomura (b. October 19, between 1960 and 1970) is a Japanese composer and musician best known for her soundtracks for various video games. Biography Yoko Shimomura was born in Hyogo prefecture, Japan. Her parents enrolled her in piano lessons when she was five years old. She took quickly to the instrument, and she often pretended to be composing her own music by playing the piano randomly. After high school, she enrolled as a piano major in Osaka Music University. Upon graduation, Shimomura intended to become a piano instructor. She had been a video gamer for many years, though, so on a lark, she sent some samples of her work to various video game companies. Squaresoft invited her in for an audition and interview, and she was offered a job there. Her family and instructors were dismayed with her change in focus (video-game music was still not mainstream in Japan at the time), but Shimomura accepted the job at Square. Shimomura's first project with Square was the score for the role-playing game (RPG) Live A Live in 1994. After this, she was paired with more experienced composers for a time. For example, she teamed with Noriko Matsueda on the strategy/RPG Front Mission in 1995. In 1998, she went solo once again for the soundtrack to the RPG Parasite Eve. Shimomura's most notable recent score is for Kingdom Hearts (2002), the joint Square/Disney venture that features Disney characters in an action/RPG environment. Shimomura rejected the project initially, skeptical that such a combination could ever work. However, she eventually relented, and her work for the game (which became a best-seller) is often cited as her finest to date. She remains an avid gamer to this day, only now, she plays more often to get a feel for the games she is composing the soundtracks for than for her own pleasure. Video Game Soundtracks (incomplete) NEMO (1990) King of Dragons (1991) Street Fighter 2 (1992) (with Alpha Lyra) Street Fighter 2: Championship Edition (1994) (with Alfh Lyra) Live A Live (1994) Front Mission (1995) (with Norika Matsueda) Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars (1996) (with Nobuo Uematsu and Koji Kondo) Tobal No. 1 (1996) (with Masashi Hamauzu, Junya Nakano, Yasuhiro Kawami, Kenji Ito, Noriko Matsueda, Ryuji Sasai, and Yasunori Mitsuda) Parasite Eve (1998) Legend of Mana (1999) Kingdom Hearts (2002) Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga (2003) Other Works Parasite Eve Remixes (1998) Tags: classical world music unsigned CHEMIST PRODUCTIONS BEAT PRODUCER YOKO SHIMOMURA AMV KINGDOM HEARTS |

大激闘-マッドポリス'80/特命刑事 - OP-ED Mad Police 80/Tokumei Keiji Stylistically "Dai Gekitou -- Mad Police '80" (Hard Impact - Mad Police '80) was very similar to the American TV Drama "S.W.A.T." (ABC/Spelling-Goldberg Productions; 1975). This was to be a series vehicle for veteran Toei movie tough guy Watase Tsunehiko (Sailor Fuku To Kikanjuu) and Umemiya Tatsuo who was probably best remembered as Kosaka Hiroshi, one of the motorcycle riding hoodlums in the 1970s Toei movie series "Furyo Bancho" (Juvenile Boss). Brother Watari Tetsuya was gaining much fame as detective Daimon Keisuke in the Ishihara Pro series "Seibu Keisatsu" (TV Asahi; 1979) which ultimately competed against this series and won decisively. Whether because of low ratings or pressure from Japanese PTA groups, the format of "Dai Gekitou -- Mad Cop '80" was changed drastically and the show soon became known simply as "Tokumei Keiji" (Special Operations Police). While most of the cast was retained, the violence was toned down considerably and two new detectives were introduced to lighten and humanize the show more. These changes did very little to change ratings and the show was soon canceled. Oddly enough Ishihara Pro's "Seibu Keisatsu" (Western Police), which was showing at the same time and had even more violence and bloodshed in it, soared in the ratings. Ohno Yuji's infectious and jazzy theme is reminiscent of many of his earlier works including the theme song to "Lupin San Sei AKA Lupin The Third" (Toho, 1979). Story: In 1980, Japan's Criminal Underworld united to form a more unified and organized criminal network. Allying itself with the Foreign Mafia, they grew to become an even more powerful Syndicate. Calling itself the "JM" or "Japan Mafia", this criminal cartel began its reign of corruption and crime. Unable to combat such an organized and monumental threat, The Japanese Metropolitan Police Force gathers together an elite team of specialists from its ranks to form a specialized combat unit specifically charged with the destruction of the "JM". Codenamed "MP" or Mad Police, these men and women use whatever means necessary to battle this imposing threat. Cast: Watase Tsunehiko (Detective Himuro Kenichi AKA Cap) Umemiya Tatsuo (Detective Masumura Hyosuke AKA Mura-San) Katagiri Ryuji (Detective Nitta Goro AKA Nitta) Shiga Masaru (Detective Serizawa Matsuya AKA Seri-San) Nakanishi Ryota (Detective Haruda Shinji AKA Shinji) Horikawa Mayumi (Detective Midorikawa Yuko AKA Yuko) Sakuragi Kenichi (Detective Segawa Daisaku) - Episodes 17-26 Yamamoto Ken (Detective Yamanami Jou AKA Joe) - Episodes 17-26 Ending Theme: "Urei No Machi" [How Can You Love The City] (City of Sadness -- How Can You Love The City) Lyrics: Narahashi Yoko Music: Ohno Yuji Vocals: Kimura Noboru 大激闘-マッドポリス'80 1980(昭和55)年4月8日 - 7月22日 日本テレビ 火曜日21:00 - 21:54 全16話 特命刑事 1980(昭和55)年7月29日 - 9月30日 日本テレビ 火曜日21:00 - 21:54 全10話 Cast: 渡瀬恒彦 (氷室健一) 梅宮辰夫 (松村兵助) 志賀勝 (芹沢末八) 片桐竜次 (新田吾郎) 中西良太 (原田進司) 堀川まゆみ (緑川悠子) 土屋嘉男 (八代浩幸) オープニングテーマ- 「大激闘」のテーマ 作曲/編曲:大野雄二 演奏:ユー&エクスプロージョンバンド エンディングテーマ- 愁いの街~HOW CAN YOU LOVE THE CITY 作詞:奈良橋陽子 作曲/編曲:大野雄二 唄:木村昇 スタッフ: 企画:加藤教夫(NTV)、小沢啓一郎(東映) プロデューサー:山口剛(NTV)、武居勝彦(東映)、瀬戸恒雄(東映)(#3~) 脚本:永原秀一、柏原寛司、峯尾基三、山本英明、高田純、宮田雪 音楽:大野雄二 技斗:西本良治郎(ジャパン・アクション・クラブ) 撮影:中島芳男、飯村雅彦、仙元誠三、大町進 他 助監督:澤井信一郎、佐伯俊道、中津川勲、原隆仁 他 音楽監督:鈴木清司(選曲:新井明美) ナレーター:清水峰夫 監督:関本郁夫、長谷部安春、野田幸男、村川透、西村潔、田中秀夫、舛田利雄 Tags: 刑事ドラマ 大激闘-マッドポリス'80 特命刑事 |

World's Junior Explosion: Naomichi Marufuji vs. Shuji Kondo Pro Wrestling NOAH's Naomichi Marufuji returned to All Japan Pro Wrestling and defeated Ryuji Hijikata to win the World's Junior Heavyweight Title. Marufuji makes his V1 defense in a 60-minute time limit draaw against KENTA and is set to have his V2 defence against Shuji Kondo. from ajpw.puroresufan.com: "Shuji Kondo has shocked the pro-wrestling world by surprisingly leaving the Voodoo Murders and joining the All Japan side in his quest to dethrone NOAHs Naomichi Marufuji of the World Jr. Title! Shuji Kondo said that after three and a half years as a member of the Voodoo Murders, he too was growing tired of their antics and needed to make a change. Kondo entered All Japan in 2005 after leaving DRAGON GATE at the tail end of 2004, helping forge the legacy of the Voodoo Murders. This past summer, Kondo left El Dorado and after watching NOAHs Naomichi Marufuji take All Japans Jr. Title, felt the need to be the one who brought things back home. Kondo revealed that he had directly appealed to join All Japan after yesterdays Jr. Title bout to both Masanobu Fuchi and Keiji Muto, and swift action was taken to ensure his place on the roster. Kondo also revealed that he hasnt spoken to any of his former VM friends and wants his first match as a member of the All Japan roster to be a purification bout as he attempts to take wrest the title away from Marufuji. Marufuji stated that he would break the record for most successful Jr. Title defenses which is set at 14 and held by Masanobu Fuchi. Marufuji elaborated on his concept, saying that once he gets to defense 14, he would defend against Masanobu Fuchi and claim his name as the top junior in the world. Shuji Kondo stated that he was honored to fight against Marufuji, and since he believes that pro-wrestling is an art, he wanted to paint a match within the highest class on 11/3 and regain the Jr. Title for All Japan. Director Fuchi put in his two cents at the end of the conference, saying that this match would not be inferior to any junior matchup this year, not even Marufuji vs. KENTA." songs: "He's a Pirate" - Pirates of the Caribbean theme "Buiikikaesu!!" - Maximum the Hormone NOTE: i still dont know why Marufuji got that nasty perm. I know its his decision but man it is so ugly.
