A L'era Sabat Sera - Lino Patruno and Nanni Svampa Lino Patruno and Nanni Svampa. http://www.linopatruno.it http://www.cambiamusica.it http://www.michaelsupnick.com Nanni Svampa (Milano, 28 febbraio 1938) è un cantante, scrittore e attore italiano, fondatore del gruppo musicale dialettale I Gufi. Nanni Svampa nasce a pochi anni dal conflitto mondiale, a Porta Venezia, uno degli antichi ingressi della Milano medievale ancora esistenti. Era zona popolare, abitata da operai e impiegati, che vivevano a continuo contatto nelle case di ringhiera, abitazioni che si affacciavano su un cortile comune e in comune dividevano anche la vita quotidiana. Questa formazione popolana verrà rafforzata dallo scoppio del conflitto. Trasferitosi come sfollato a Porto Valtravaglia, piccolo comune in provincia di Varese ed adagiato sulle sponde del Lago Maggiore, crescerà in un mondo ancora rurale e provinciale, che molto influirà nel suo futuro artistico. Dopo la maturità scientifica, Svampa, consigliato e convinto dal padre, si iscrive alla Bocconi, dove si laureerà in Economia e commercio. L'esperienza maturata nella ricerca di un primo impiego confacente alle volontà paterne gli ispirò la canzone "Io vado in banca", portata poi al successo nella cabarettistica interpretazione de I Gufi. Durante il periodo universitario, nel 1959, si avvicina al mondo musicale, fondando, e partecipando come voce e chitarra, il complesso de I soliti Idioti. La natura goliardica delle prime avventure sul palco subiscono un arresto nel 1960, quando Svampa inizia ad ascoltare e ad apprezzare le interpretazioni di Georges Brassens. Nel 1961, arruolato nel servizio di leva, con il tempo a disposizione, inizia a tradurre Brassens, dal francese al dialetto milanese. Questo esercizio continuo di apprendimento delle espressioni dialettali, lo avvicinerà molto alle canzoni popolari e alle tradizioni musicali lombarde. Dopo lo scioglimento dei Gufi, Nanni Svampa continua la collaborazione con Patruno, incentrando la sua attività negli spettacoli teatrali, quali Addio Tabarin e Un giorno dopo l'altro, e soprattutto nella creazione di un' antologia delle canzoni popolari milanesi. AnimeCON 08 with Chris Sabat saying "THIS IS SPARTA!" Recorded Saturday, March 15, 2008 Yesterday, a group of friends and I went to Toronto AnimeCON 2008. A bunch of us cosplayed. At first I refused because I think it's stupid, but Afro Samurai is too great of a character because Samuel Jackson is ultimate badass. Chris Sabat and Michael Sinterniklass were there open for Q&A and autographs. My friend and I were able to get an ok spot to sit where I recorded different parts on my digital camera. By the way, some parts you may have to turn your speakers up high to hear because of the distance and at parts they don't speak directly into the mics. In the video, Chris Sabat says "THIS IS SPARTA!" in Vegeta's voice. He later refuses to say "IT'S OVER 9000!" and talks about how playing the voice of Vegeta makes him beat up homeless people. The two of them talk about how the Xbox 360 is more fun to play than the PS3. Michael Sinterniklass attempts to say "TONIGHT WE DINE AT ARBYS!" in Vegeta's voice, but his attempt craps out on him. lol. We later got autographs from Chris Sabat. My friend brought his Metroid Prime 3 case to get autographed which surprised Chris Sabat because people only remember him for playing Vegeta in DragonBall Z. I got a DragonBall Z DVD cover autographed where he drew an arrow pointing at Goku and wrote "LAME" and drew an arrow pointing at Vegeta and wrote "COOL." A great day overall.
