M.U.G.E.N - Yuri Sakazaki vs. Iroha Ok, you'll notice in the first round that Iroha pulls a DBZ by not actually fighting but concentrating on charging energy. And, like DBZ characters, this comes back to bite me in the ass. Pinko's "CvS" Iroha originates from Samurai Spirits: Tale of the World's Greatest Swordsman(Samurai Showdown 6 for you American dudes), and her M.U.G.E.N adaptation has characteristics from various fighting games, such as Melty Blood. I, myself, haven't gotten used to all the modes yet, but there is one that heals her energy, one that makes her stronger, I think, and one that makes time slow down for all except her, so you're able to pull off a ton of attacks and your opponent won't have time to block. Unfortunatly, while these concepts might seem cool, she is somewhat broken. These extra modes, instead of adding variety, just easily shove her into a nigh super cheap catagory. But, to be honest, she's really not so bad. But, honestly, I'm just remonstrating because another video I wanted to upload turned out bad when I was editing it, and it was taking too long to fix and it was against Vampire Burns and I only won both rounds via Time Over, and Kong's shitty programming makes me angry. And Warner needs to just give his sprites to someone who knows how to program and can make original characters instead of making spriteswaps of shitty characters. Christ, Kong you suck so much. Just go home and be a family man, dweebenheimer. Yuri was made by P.o.t.S., Iroha was made by Pinko, and the stage was made by EXShadow. The music is an arranged version of The Art Of Fighting Team's King Of Fighter 1995 theme. Anyway, enjoy. CCI Ryo Sakazaki - 2nd video Thanks to ViolentRyo, I have moved my lazy ass off to finish something SNKP had to make since a long time: remake all sprites to match each others, mainly the arm muscles and the hair. I have also added the Renbu Ken "WA style", and allowed the air Haoh Ken to be done after an aerial basic attack (but isn't shown in the video). RFTG Mugen Special #9: Ryo Sakazaki (Raiwa) Showcase-New Ver You can download Raiwa's Ryo Sakazaki (both versions), Athena Asamiya (the KoF '94 and '95 ones), Ken Masters (the SSF2X stylization) and a beta of John Crawley from AoF2 here: www.ne.jp/asahi/home/raiwa/Game/Mugen/ You can download the .mp3 that I used for his stage here: caddie.smeenet.org/ This is my eleventh Mugen video. It showcases Raiwa's newer, most recently updated version of Ryo Sakazaki (the FFS version, with some additional moves, including a custom Hien-Shippu-Kyaku, a Death Valley Driver throw, the old-school Ichigeki Hissatsu DM/SDM and the ability to summon a Robert Garcia striker) against seven tough opponents: Warusaki3's CvS2 one on EX-groove, Byakko's (the one that pretty much EVERYBODY'S seen or even used), Duende Macabro's NGBC version (a little less well known), the entire Aiduzzi trio and P.O.T.S.'s edited regular CvS2 Ryu. His AI, IMHO, is probably one of the best around right now (considering how hard it is to find a GDS char with a decent CPU, apart from MugenMage and laiso7's) for a creation of his class. He makes excellent use of DVDs if you're up-close, is exquisite at countering an aerial onslaught with a well-timed Ryuuga, tends to jump and fly around the screen a lot with Hien Shippu Kyakus, can do excellent combo chains and does a decent job of timing super moves when he feels the time is right. His strategies are, for the most part, impressive (but one thing hardcore players can take advantage of is that he spends a good amount of time on some occasions charging up his chakra bar; you can also use this this technique to beat old-school SNK bosses, including 26-year-old Geese Howard in Art of Fighting 2 (the hidden boss that you can only get to by beating the game on one credit without losing a single round)). As for the two new Ryos that I'm showcasing in my video: Waru3's is actually very decent. He makes great usage of Just Defends and parries, uses cool combos and is very adept at hitting you with a hyper just when you're least hoping to eat one. As for Byakko's, it is VERY hard, particularily due to the fact that it shoots full-screen Ko'ou Kens at you IMMENSELY quickly, evades attacks pretty well, and is incredible at hitting you with quick Shoran Kyakus and cancelling supers into each other. You already know everyone else, though, so I'm not going to mention them. Also, sorry about not including aj's Macromedia winquote. I just didn't feel that it was smart or necessary to attach it to any vid that features a char who is not, in any sort of way, associated with my team. KOF MI2 - Athena Asamiya (De) vs. Yuri Sakazaki The last Maximum Impact 2 video for tonight has me playing as Athena (alternate schoolgirl costume) vs. Yuri (alternate... uh... casual wear... I think). I seemed to do a tiny bit better here but still can't remember all my combos of the dime of a hat (yet that's rather limited since everything is almost dial a combo like), but still out of the three I feel best about this fight specifically. Still recorded this just for fun P.S.: I really would've liked to taken off the glasses off Athena's another outfits like she had them in MI1, but oh well... I just don't think they match with her. RFTG Mugen Special #10: Ryo Sakazaki (Raiwa) Showcase-OldVer This is my twelveth Mugen video. It features the OLDER version of Raiwa's Ryo Sakazaki going up against all of the opponents from my previous video. For the most, part this version is pretty much exactly like the other one, except for a few differences: -The tiny explosion caused when a Ko'ou Ken makes contact with an enemy's body is a red, fiery color instead of a blue gradient mix. -His Death Valley Driver has a rather broken bug where he can throw the opponent in the opposite direction even while standing behind him/her or being in the backs of them. -When he connects a Ryuuko Ranbu of any level of strength in his challenger, every hit adds up damage until it ultimately shows the entire amount upon the final hit, whereas the most recent version, upon connection, just lets the beats beat the half-steppers down without anything happening to the amount of health remaining in the upper bar until the last finisher. -There are no custom hitsparks (the original FFS ones). -Some sound samples have different pitches and frequencies than the final known one.
