Great Iran Come and let us honor Iran's great kings such as Kourosh and Aryamehr, M.R. Pahlavi !!! All Iranian deserve to know the real truth. Below is quick list of some info about Shah for those who only know him through false rumors you hear. Who was Shah? He was the greatest Iranian nationalist and genious politician to take the leadership of Iran since the Hakamaneshi King Dariush. He was a US puppet? Absolutely not; he needed to the help from the West since Iran was so behind because of bad kings we had in the past 1000 years or so. He was building Iran by purchasing advanced military equipment from USA and other countries. He was using them without isolating himself from them. He and his father built Iran's transportation infrastructure, agriculture, petrochemical plants, nuclear power plants, and all aspects of the economy. He built Iran military up to the point that before the revolution Irans army was considered the 5th strongest and ready military in the world with 300,000 reserves. It was during the Pahlavi period that Iran rose in the arts, music, literature, and earned the respect of the world. It was this period and that system that enabled some of the men and women of Iran to be made. SAVAK was necessary and it was for your safety and mine. Every government needs a central intelligence department. Considering the people you see today in Iran who are running Iran that deserve to be in jail, wouldn't you agree not only one SAVAK but maybe 2 or 3 SAVAKs is actually necessary to keep these animals locked up? The Shah would never lock up true Iranians who loved their country. If he locked anybody up was because he was convinved they were going to harm the country or the people. He even forgave Khomeini back in the day for corrupting the masses. He even forgave those who tried to kill him in an assasination attempt. The Shah was a humanitarian, a gentleman, and above all a true Iranian who loved and lived for Iran. Moral values among Iranians had diminished dramatically as a result of intense modernization? He did not wish this to happen but it was a side effect of rapid development. Keep in mind he miraculously turned the clock in Iran 1400 years in just 50 years of his magnificent and unparalled rule. But what moral values are we talking about here? If it is Islam, then good that it was getting less popular. Islam and progress do not go hand in hand to begin with. But perhaps and this is the only thing I find more could had been done was more cultural education about the ancient culture of Persia and the native Persian religion of Zoroastrianism. Yet we do see him embracing Persian values. Such as the grand celebration he held in 1973 called the 2500 Year Celebration of Persian Monarchy which was aimed at educating the world and open the eyes of the world the greatness of Iranian culture and civilization. There were many Iranians who even opposed this from taking place. Violation of Human Rights? That was part a recent Western conspiracy to start the ground work for the overthrow of the SHAH which began just two years prior in 1977 by the Carter administration. If anything the SHAH was a true follower of human rights since his role model was Cyrus the Great as pattern for rulership. I think today in Iran you know what violation of human rights really means. The Shah himself was a freedom fighter. He brought women and men to levels of freedom never experienced in Iran for almost 2 milleniums. He opened the gates of freedom so wide that , that was what actually sadly made it so easy for people to get spoiled and become even more hungry for more. You, the people of Iran, owe the SHAHANSHAH and commanders of Iran a big apology for being ungrateful and being unpatriotic by quickly believing what others falsely tried to stir up in you. The enemy gave us the bulldozers and we destroyed our own homes with it. Tags: Iran Shah Vatan Persia Kourosh |

Who is the founder of PMOI? In dawn of May 25, 1972, the founders of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI), Mohammad Hanifnejad, Saeed Mohsen and Ali Asghar Badizadegan, along with two members of the PMOI leadership, Mahmoud Askarizadeh and Rasoul Meshkinfam, were put before death squads and were executed after long months of imprisonment and torture in Shah's SAVAK dungeons. They were the vanguards, who stood against the dictatorial regime of Shah. At a time when former methods of struggle had failed and there was no prospect for freedom in the country, the founders of the PMOI founded an organization based on a progressive and democratic interpretation of Islam. The founders' ultimate goal was to pave the way for a democratic government to replace the Shah's regime. In contrast to most of their contemporaries, they believed that a new, democratically inclined interpretation of Islam was the means to this end. They set about establishing a political organization that could survive the shah's repression and respond to the needs of ordinary citizens. The PMOI was founded in 1945 to strive for a democratic Iran, at the time when Iran was being used by the British colonialism and the US Imperialistic interest in the natural sources of the country. At that time there was an interest conflict between the 2 powers over Iran's wealth and geopolitical benefits...At that time Mossadegh -- a popular Nationalist who had fought the Shah for the Iranian people's right to their wealth in the oil industry, was toppled by a US lead coup d'etas . The Iranian people were left in despair. Hardly any hope for any real nationalists to retain their rights. The Imperial dictatorship learned to pretend to bring progress for the society, but all his plans only widened class divisions, as the Iranian society fell into a cultural reform exchanging much of Iranian culture with the US ones under a "cultural change scheme" carried by the Shah. At the same time, through this so called change, all opposing intellectuals were labeled as terrorists, Marxists and were hunted down and caught in prisons. The 2 main political; movements, Mojahedin of Iran (PMOI) and the Fedaain (Marxists) were traced by the infamous secret police and purged. Most members were imprisoned. The PMOI, underwent a lot of pressure as their main organizational structure was shattered. The remaining new members, who had been very fragile towards the blows by the SAVAK, were left trying to balance and stay afloat. At this time the Mullahs found the opportunity ripe to serve another blow on the remains of this organization, which represented an ideology completely opposite to Islamic fundamentalism. It had been long that Khomeini had awaited for an opportunity to eradicate this new generation of activists who believed that the bases of Islam was on compassion and democracy and freedom, rather than a religious centralized fascism. The end result was the utmost co0operation of the mullahs with the Shah to eradicate this group... Their founders were executed, the remains of their leadership were court-martialed, and sentenced to death, and their members were scattered outside prison. At the beginning of the 1979 uprising, the PMOI's leadership had been in prison, whilst Khomeini was brought to power by a political agreement signed and sealed between the Shah, the West and Khomeini. An agreement that was supposed to bring Khomeini temporarily to calm the revolting crowed in Iran, and then re institute the Shah as he would slide back into his religious cocoon. But things turned to the dissatisfaction and surprise of the deceived WEST. Khomeini had deceived all sides; the West, the Shah, and also the Iranian people. He usurped the uprising, establishing an Islamic dictatorship and refusing to even add the name "Democratic" to the title of the Iranian system which turned to be an "Islamic republic"!! Tags: Shah Iran |
