Spider-Man 2 (2004) HD (Free Movie Clip) - Peter's Birthday This is the high-definition free sample movie clip preview from the second blockbuster hit of 2004, in our beloved "Spider-Man" film franchise; and based on the superhero stories in Marvel Comics History..... "SPIDER-MAN 2" (2004) Set two years after the events of the first film, when Peter vowed that he will continue to fufill his duties as the web-slinging superhero, Spider-Man, and to fight for the powers of great responsibility. Peter had done a greater good as Spider-Man, resucing people, stopping robberies, mugging, and etc. Even he has partaken the most greater evil. It was his involvement with the notorious Green Goblin, a.k.a. Norman Osborn, the father of his best friend, Harry. Norman became the Green Goblin, because his company - OSCORP, was on a verge of bankruptcy, and the U.S. Military and the Board of Directors determined to bring him down and the company, if he didn't have enough money to build and test his latest experiment, the Human Performance enhancers. His test results were in and the experiment has driven Osborn into insanity (when he used it on himself). He also tried to threaten Peter, Mary Jane, and Aunt May, once before. But was killed by his own glider, which unbeknownst to Harry, that Harry swore to take revenge thinking that Spider-Man killed his father. BACKSTORY: However, the people in New York City, still didn't accept Peter as their hero just yet. Peter, now a college student, still juggling his duties and as the same superhero. Most likely, his snooty boss from the Daily Bugle, Jameson, still hates Spider-Man from his own point of view. Peter's supposedly part-time job was working as a pizza-delivery boy, when he failed to deliver eleven past 8 minutes, to an office building, but the clerk didn't accept it, even when he was Spider-Man. Peter was fired, but was almost fired, when he asked Jameson for another chance to do more freelance photography, and to deliver more photos of Spider-Man. CURRENT SCENE: In this scene we see that Peter drives a scooter to school and to his apartment. But he was "late" to his own science class, when Dr. Connors almost failed him for falling asleep, also heading back to Aunt May's house in Queens. This scene was Peter's Birthday !!! Once Peter got home from work, Aunt May and his pals, Mary Jane (M.J.) and Harry Osborn welcomes him by giving him a surprise. Peter pretended that he did not know what's going on. Still shy seeing M.J. again, but was happy to meet up with Harry. Peter began to puzzle about what Harry told him about M.J. is like any other girl who admires him or whatever. Harry carefully asked Peter about "Spider-Man." Although, Peter must keep his identity a secret, and he knows if Harry will find out sooner or later about the truth. Then, Aunt May brought out the cake for everyone to eat and celebrate. Aunt May learns that Harry has now taken over his late father's place as the head owner of OSCORP, assuming that he helped saved the company, from the funding threats. Harry explains that he was in charge of "special projects" department at OSCORP, and that his company is working socially with Dr. Otto Octavius, a famed scientist, who once visited Peter's university and spoke as a guest speaker in his class. Although, Harry was appreciated the compliment from Aunt May's respect for his father's honor. But Harry still mentions about Spider-Man, still troubles Peter a whole lot, even though Peter did not want to reveal his identity nor telling the truth about the death of his father. He pleads with Harry to keep their friendship close, but Harry has firmly agreed on that and decides to forget about the topic temporarily. It was true, since his father died, Harry still grieved over by the death, and was alone, and the only heir of the OSBORN mansion. But luckily, Bernard, the houseman/butler who has taken care of him and the family for years. Harry still misses his father, but did not miss to wish to kill Spider-Man for vengeance in his own greed. "SPOILERS END HERE," WHAT WILL PETER REACT TO THIS ??? ENJOY AND PLEASE COMMENT !!!!!!!
