As is becoming a running trend in my videos, I did kinda bad on the part i usually do good on (the end of the red stream) and I did good on the part I usually do bad on (the pattern near the end of the song). If you look real close, you can see my reflection in the mirror on the left of the video once I get up from the chair: as soon as I got gold I threw down my sticks in celebration and walked off, haha Also, the pads are shaking so much because of the sock mod: i'm not hitting them all that hard. Edit (by pope): The 3 stick method is an accepted method at SH, so it is NOT cheating. In fact, it takes quite a lot of practice to get down and is about as hard as doing the song regularly. Don't Fear the Reaper Expert Drums 5 Gold Stars Rock Band My gold star run of (Don't Fear) the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult. 321k I don't use any mods or audio silencers for the pads. The tv is jacked up pretty high. But the PS3 pads seem to be much better than the 360's. I'm hitting the pads pretty hard during that solo part and they're still quiet. I played on my friend's xbox360 set and it felt and sounded like playing on rocks. I wonder if I was just lucky and got a good set. oh well. Yes it is called the guitar solo, it is a drum solo, but people refer to it more as a guitar solo because the guitar dominates over the drums (godamn racist movement XD) 2. I saved overdrive the first time because it is necessary to the OD path, the second time I saved it was a freak accident. I accidently screwed up the OD path at the end too :( Also if you're having trouble passing the guitar solo, try to focus more on the foot pedal because that seems like the thing that takes you down the most.
