Black Lagoon - "Sharp Lady" Sorry for the delay, folks. Here's another video, this time for Black Lagoon. I like how it turned out, and I hope you do as well. Visual Source: Black Lagoon, with a screencap from Spaceballs and various images I found on Google Image Search Audio Source: Cake - "Short Skirt Long Jacket" Lyrics: I want a girl with a mind like a diamond. I want a girl who knows what's best. I want a girl with shoes that cut and Eyes that burn like cigarettes. I want a girl with the right allocations, Who is fast and thorough And sharp as a tack. She's playing with her jewelery, She's putting up her hair, She's touring the facilities And picking up slack. I want a girl with a short skirt And a long...jacket. I want a girl who gets up early. I want a girl who stays up late. I want a girl with uninterrupted prosperity, Who uses a machete to cut through red tape. With fingernails that shine like justice, And a voice that is dark like tinted glass! She is fast and thorough And sharp as a tack. She's touring the facilities And picking up slack. I want a girl with a short skirt And a long...long jacket! I want a girl with a smooth liquidation. I want a girl with good dividends. At Citibank, we will meet accidentally. We'll start to talk when she borrows my pen. She wants a car with a cup holder arm rest. She wants a car that will get her there. She's changing her name From Kitty to Karen. She's trading her MG for a White Chrysler LeBaron. I want a girl with a short skirt And a long jacket! Tags: black lagoon anime music video comedy |

Claymore - "Always With Me" Here's my third video (second music video), and once again, I'm very happy with the results. I hope you all enjoy and please tell me what'cha think. Visual Source: Claymore Audio Source: HYDE - "Season's Call" Lyrics (translated from Japanese): Defying the whirling wind, I am searching for the lost season. Even if it's only a little, it's in the direction I'm aiming for That these vivid memories provoke me. How many cuts should I repeat? How many fates should I accept? Does it have an end? Always, throughout my body, You run about and seem to overflow. That's why I'm not afraid, even tomorrow, Because I always feel you in me. Having washed down my dry throat, Your name will moisten my heart. How many cuts should I repeat? How many fates should I accept? Does it have an end? Like that faraway bird, If only I could go soar across the sky, I'd like to always be able to tell you of my love, Because I always feel you in me. You taught me how to love. I feel I can do anything... The world sketched in the dream, I want to unfold it before your eyes. That's why I'm not afraid, even tomorrow. My beloved season calls me, Because I always feel you in me. Tags: claymore anime music video drama |

Firefly/Serenity - "Beyond Madness" I was originally planning to release this with a longer Firefly video, but I can't quite get a good idea for it, so I'll upload this now. Enjoy! Visual Source: Firefly/Serenity Audio Source: Maximum the Hormone - "What's Up People?! (intro version)" Lyrics (translated from Japanese. These lyrics aren't exact, I don't think, and I tried to punch up the translation as much as I could...but could have made it less accurate.): You're real handy, yay! Real handy, yay! Real handy, yay! You human. You're real handy, yay! Real handy, yay! Real handy, yay! You human. Yo! You gettin' mad? You gettin' mad? You shakin' with rage, you human?! Yo! You gettin' mad? You gettin' mad? You shakin' with rage, you human?! What's up?! You all uneasy? That crime ain't goin' away. What's up?! You worried? (Who's resentful?) What's up?! You all uneasy? That crime ain't goin' away. What's up?! You worried? Hey, hey, a hymn to humanity. Love's gone. You worried? Hey, hey, a hymn to humanity. Love's gone. You worried? Hey, hey, a hymn to humanity. IGPX - Champions' Paradise (Redone) NOTE: Sorry for the redo, but from looking at the vid, its PoV changed a bit from a team-vs-team thing to a more personal thing between Takeshi and Cunningham. Therefore, I've re-cut the video to remove Liz and Amy's solo clips. I hope it feels more focused now. Visual: IGPX - Immortal Grand Prix Audio: angela - "Shangri-La" Lyrics (translated from Japanese): It's all right if it's foolish, The traces of the dream I look out over... Goodbye, days of my youth. Entrusting my body to the current, Someday I'll become an adult. Will I become dirty, Little by little? Only the mature fruits are chosen And cut with a knife Before being gulped down... We aimed for Shangri-La Without suppressing our desire. Covered in daydreams, We kept searching for freedom. Now we can say it- This is paradise! Goodbye, days of my youth... We wanted to Grab the highest apple, Even if we had to Stand on our precious things to reach it. We only notice what's important when we lose it We who are very young Are always missing the target... Suppressing happy days Makes me feel unstable. Although I'm wounded, I want to fly away. It's all right if it's foolish, The traces of the dream I look out over. Goodbye, days of my youth... The shining sky was Dressed in innocence, But it knew everything... We aimed for Shangri-La Without suppressing our desire, Covered in daydreams, We kept searching for freedom-! I'll surely leave the distance behind, Knowing my own largeness With my inexperienced heart Not understanding even that. Now I can say it- This is paradise! Goodbye, days of my youth! Avant-Garde: A New Art Form This was my final project while studying at the New York Film Academy. It's a short essay I wrote about the concept of the video game as a new medium for art. Whether in terms of music, art design, narrative, or even the mechanics themselves, video games have an as-yet unsurpassed potential for producing works of amazing beauty and depth. This is not to say that games can't or don't function as a commercial venue as well - they do, and quite well at that. The commercialization of literature, film, and music is mirrored in video games, with one less facet - video games are still in their infancy, still somewhat in an experimental state. I have tried to give people my take on what has been done and could be done to produce great works of art that are themselves entertaining. Footage I used for this movie came from: Games Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones (UbiSoft) Grim Fandango (Lucasarts) Katamari Damacy (Namco) Street Fighter II (Capcom) Street Fighter: The Movie: The Game (Capcom) Devil May Cry 3 (Capcom) Devil May Cry 4 trailer (Capcom) Guilty Gear X-2 (Arc System Works) The Sims (Maxis) Armored Core 3 (FROM Software) Star Wars: Battlefront II (Pandemic Studios) Shadow of the Colossus (SCEA) Lilo and Stitch (Disney Interactive) Taz: Wanted (Blitz Games) Final Fantasy X (Square Enix) Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner (KCEJ) Samurai Warriors 2: Empires (Omega Force) Tetrollapse (GameGuild) Jagged Alliance 2 (SirTech) Enter the Matrix (Shiny Entertainment) Eragon (Stormfront Studios) GunMaster Onslaught (LostVectors) PONG (Atari) The "footage" I put together of Pong was done with simple shapes that were manually moved around the screen, and though I did credit PONG to Atari because I did utilize Pong as a reference to the first video games, I didn't use actual PONG footage. Movies/Series Charlotte Sometimes (Visionbox) Eragon (20th Century Fox) Crash (Lion's Gate) Noir (Bee Train) I'm Your Man DVD Cover (Choicepoint) Space Mutiny (Action International) Terminator 2 (TriStar) Star Wars (Lucasfilm) Street Fighter: The Movie (Universal) The Matrix Reloaded (Warner Bros.) Enter the Dragon (Warner Bros.) Music "Cyberbird" by Gabriela Robin "Vergil Battle 3" by Tetsuya Shibata "Battle with the Colossus" By Kow Otani Other "Eragon" by Christopher Paolini "Serra Angel vs. Hypnotic Specter" by Greg Staples "The Treachery of Images" by Rene Magritte "The Lost Jewels of Nabooti" by R.A. IGPX - Champions' Paradise It's taken a while, but here is a music video I've been turning over in my head. I've finally gotten it done, and looking at it now, I couldn't feel prouder. NOTE: I've put together a redone version that cuts out Amy and Liz in favor of focusing on Takeshi's rivalry with Cunningham. Here's the link, and I hope you enjoy. I might take this down, but people might still like it, so I'll keep it up for now: Link to the redone version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djMhfy3pg_g Visual: IGPX - Immortal Grand Prix Audio: angela - "Shangri-La" Lyrics (translated from Japanese): It's all right if it's foolish, The traces of the dream I look out over...
